All of Us strongly endorses the Employment-Based reform proposed in the #USCitizenshipAct by @POTUS @SenatorMenendez @RepLindaSanchez.
This proposal will solve the EB immigration backlog, while rejecting all zero-sum approaches of the past few years.
Bad news: Cosponsors of the zero-sum EAGLE Act are increasing day by day.
Good news: As a constituent, you could be the one informing your House representative about the devastating effects of this zero-sum bill and convincing them to OPPOSE IT.

Today's House hearing reflects a unanimous consensus for MORE GREEN Cards:
"Within a decade, more than 2 million people will be waiting in line for years or even decades for employment-based green cards." Stuart Anderson

You don't know how math works?
When the problem is NOT ENOUGH, the solution is MORE.
You're supporting ZERO.

Big Tech lobbying arms pushing hard for the #EagleAct!
If this bill passes:
🔺Backlog for everyone 📈
🔺Total Big Tech monopoly over employment-based Green Cards
The real solution is to allocate more GCs to balance supply and demand.

GitHub stands with immigrants and is proud to support the #EAGLEAct / HR3648 that would eliminate country caps on employment-based green cards. We’re stronger when we can welcome developers no matter where they’re from. eagleact.info/
You guessed it right!
The average ROW country gets <0.5% (only 7 got >2% & only 13 got 1-2% in 2019)
Meanwhile, the EagleAct sponsors claim that small and large countries get “the same allocation”
In practice, large countries get a larger share and small ones a small share
What do you think is the % share of the EB green cards allocated to each ROW country (on average)?
Hint: Chart below.
34%7%
16%2%
8%>1%
41%<0.5%
225 votes • Final resultsThe 7% cap did not cause the backlog. Due to spillovers, larger countries get a larger share in practice.
“[Due to 7% caps,] countries with relatively small populations are allocated the same number of visas as a relatively large-population country.” — Rep Lofgren on #EagleAct
The irony with the “Equal Access” to Green cards for Legal Employment (EAGLE) Act is that it leads to decades-long MONOPOLY for ONE country and ONE industry.
@AILANational @Ynotgreencards @IraKurzban @gsiskin @mscmiami @ckuck @RepZoeLofgren
Immigrants hired by US corporations must have equal rights to others, which means a green card NOT the temporary H1B visa.
This will afford them mobility in case of employer abuse and protect others from wage suppression.
The Biden bill fixes this: supallofus.org/2021/02/18/al…
How does EAGLE Act solve the EB green card backlog when it only removes per-country caps and adds no new GCs?
Huh 🤔it doesn’t. Actually, makes it worse!
As we've said all along.
@RepZoeLofgren @RepJohnCurtis @Ynotgreencards
From day one, we've been advocating a strategy that clears the backlog: green cards for all.
The zero-sum approach of the Immigration Voice leaves 190+ countries behind, been tested & proven ineffective despite burning unlimited $.
Join us if you look for the real solution.
Immigration Voice has devolved -- at first, they claimed they had no idea ZERO SUM would hurt anybody.
Now, hurting the rest of the world is the point. That others must suffer is more important than delivering green cards to the backlog.

You can take a page or two from our playbook. (1) advocating for a fair immigration policy (2) opposing zero-sum proposals. Hope that helps.
Proponents turning to All of Us, nervous about slow progress and Apple's reaction @Ynotgreencards
