This new @surface Laptop 13” in Ocean looks so good 😍
Here is what a Rivian R2 in Catalina Cove looks like with Satin PPF. What do you think? I am digging it. @Rivian
I really don’t see why the comments are this way. It’s ok to be skeptical of things Tesla/Elon does. History has a strange way of repeating itself. It’s also ok to be excited too.
Sub 10000 VIN (slightly below 9500) and I got full ventilation! @RivianTrackr this is all your fault 😂
I pick up in the 9500’s today. What are my chances with this VIN?
Update: Rivian confirmed newer R2s only ventilate the seat cushion, telling me the backrest fan was removed because it generated excessive cabin noise. Rivian also says R2 seat heating is unchanged.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 slander needs to chill. Apple’s iPhone Duo is fantastic but the Fold 8 now all of a sudden being “trash” is absurd. Competition is good!
This is not it
The more iPhone Duo hands-on videos I watch, the more I feel that Samsung was just muddling through before Apple arrived.
Samsung has been making foldables for years, yet it never seems to have figured out what the experience should actually be like. Everything follows an engineering mindset: the screen folds, the features work, job done. But how much thought has gone into the transition between folded and unfolded, the little details of every interaction, and how it all actually feels to use?
Then Apple comes along, and suddenly you realize: a foldable can do this? It can feel like this? Things we had grown used to, and even accepted as inevitable, suddenly turn out to have so much room for improvement.
To me, Apple has both redefined the foldable and expanded our understanding of what one can be. That’s the difference between a great product and a mediocre one.
Now I look at the Galaxy Z Fold 8 in my hand, and it honestly looks like an idiot.
Samsung, please just stick to supplying hardware components. You really aren’t cut out to make software or finished consumer products.
This is a great interview on Xiaomi’s new chips and why they decided to go in house. 👇

I interviewed Xiaomi's president William Lu about the company's chip strategy, and why they're just doing IFA now in 2026
The @Xiaomi 18 Fold has been announced! This will be the first flagship smartphone with the Xiaomi XRING 03 which is a in house chipset. I didn’t see this coming did you?
Ok I decided to go with the R2. The coastal cloud interior pushed me over the edge. Excited to drive this daily! Says 8-12 weeks but let’s see what happens 🔥🔥🔥@Rivian
Dang just went to the Kia dealership to try and negotiate on a EV9 but I get this email. What do I do? 😭
Since these are 2 are in the same general price point which one would you get? At first I thought the R2 was the immediate choice but the Model Y L has me rethinking. Help me decide.

What foldable are you most excited for?
Do you think this kills Rivian R2 momentum?
Tesla just dropped the Model Y L in the US, starting at $61,990 for the launch edition. It’s got six seats, a 325-mile range, and does 0–60 in 4.4 seconds. The R2, on the other hand, is $4k cheaper, actually accelerates faster, and comes with lifetime Autonomy+.
The Y L gives you a third row and a year of FSD instead. These cars are clearly aimed at different folks, but Tesla’s definitely charging extra for the extra space.
And yeah, I know some people will say Autonomy+ and FSD aren’t really on the same level right now.

$999 might sound like a lot for a fully custom fit wheelchair. But it's 80% cheaper than it used to be. Iykyk.
