Really looking forward to all the posts from people who somehow don't know that days are shorter in the cool months than they are in the warm months no matter how you mess with the clock. Where I live, the day is 14 hours, 30 minutes long on the summer solstice. The day is 9 hours, 48 minutes long on the winter solstice. So yes, if you work at least an eight hour day and have a typical commute of 27.2 minutes one way, you aren't going to see much sunlight outside of work.

Saw the story about the Virginia man who is facing serious charges because he duct-taped his wife to a chair. I too have been duct-taped to a chair. I was a freshman at Alabama and my friends decided it would be funny to tape me to a chair and set me down in the middle of the TV room at Palmer Hall. The "TV room nerds," as we called them, sat there and stared, unsure of what to do. They were unaccustomed to women interrupting Magnum PI. Anyway, it WAS funny and I laugh about it to this day.
I have had this screenshot saved since 2018, and after the horrible news yesterday about Jalen Hurts, I've thought about it repeatedly. If you don't know the story about Jalen Hurts and 2018, just ask and I will tell you. If you do, you should know this tweet was pinned to his Twitter account in September of that year. I do not accept that this is how it ends. I pray he is fully healed and that the Philadelphia Eagles are held to account.
