The answer is peace of mind and I don’t understand why people can’t understand that. If I draw 7 lands in MTG or 3ash2fuwa in YGO then I can’t get mad at my shuffle, that’s proving it was a good shuffle, even.

this reminds me of my continuous beef with the crowds at anime con raves that hire artists who don’t care about the artist but pop off when the artist plays creepy nuts. Ryu and Taku Takahashi’s sets at acen were great but Mermaid Girl and Divine respectively got zero pop

Went to this last night. Maybe EDM concerts just aren't my thing, but I was disappointed there were only two Pokemon songs. It was mostly music I didn't recognize with some Pokemon visuals thrown on top. You could've swapped in any other franchise and I wouldn't have known this was supposed to be a Pokemon concert. At least we got a cool swag bag.

I’ve noticed Yugioh regionals attendances still declining , Seattle regionals had like 110-120 people yesterday in advanced. Why are players not coming back post banlist? What’s the disconnect ?

At a magic 10k while a riftbound 25k is happening in the same hall. Biggest difference beteeen riftbound and magic, a lot more girlfriends standing behind the riftbound players watching them play

SCGCon Hartford coverage has been great! However, it’s been blending in with a lot of the same beats that card games like Riftbound and YGO cover, and it’s a bit stale. Maybe they could spice it up and shake up the presenters, introduce a gorilla from the moon with a tesla cannon
