Not long now….! The square is looking fantastic and the ground in great shape. Roll on the new season.

A lot of hard work has gone into the ground for it to be ready for tomorrows first home @Cherwellcricket home game against Marston St Lawrence! Should be a great game #swinbrook
Can’t wait!! See you soon
Today we welcome our friends at nearby @swinbrookcc to Memorial Field for a friendly. 🏏
Last season the visitors emphatically beat us home & away as they were promoted from @Cherwellcricket Division 7B!
Thanks to ball sponsor Fleet & Commercial Insurance:

TEAM NEWS 🎉:
On Saturday we are looking forward to welcoming @TewCricket for some top class cricket! 🏏
We are all hoping that the rain stays away! See you there!
Bar will be open 🍺🍻
Swinbrook successfully chase 55 at Ascott Under Wychwood.
A huge thank you to the players and ground staff at @AUWCricketClub for getting the game on! The covers flying on and off isn’t ideal but we are grateful for the effort from everyone!
Back at home next week 🏏
UPDATE -
After bowling well, and a fantastic 7-21 from Alfie “leads from the front” Juckes, we have got a target of 55 to win!
Kit Morland and DB will be going out to continue the chase after a small rain delay 🌧️
Captains happy - we bowl away at Ascott under Wytchwood CC @AUWCricketClub
Phrase of the day is:
“We hate rain but love cricket”
#Cricket #bowlfirst
Engine for the team bus has been started for our away trip to Ascott-under Wytchwood tomorrow! Should be an exciting return fixture.
I told Alfie that it was a bit early but he just loves cricket so much 🏏
On the back of a fantastic win last week the Swinbrook 1st XI play again at home!
A big contingent return from lords, where they gained valuable experience being with the test squad, despite not getting the nod to start the games.

Chasing down a good score on a tough track. Oh how England would love to say that tomorrow evening…..
Good game all round!
Thank you to Stanton Harcourt who were fantastic opponents for the day!

The sun has joined us down at Swinbrook.
Skipper in with our very own Matt Thomas who has just crunched a cover drive in “Ian Bell esque” fashion.
Score - 92 for 3 off 28 overs
A possible 50 plus overs can be used!
#whatshappeningatswinbrook is trending on Twitter and I have always been a man of the people.
Swinbrook captain Cal “wins the toss” Dadge does as his name suggests and sticks Stanton Harcourt in.
After 33 overs swinbrook take all 10 and SH set 151 to win!
Game on….
Day 3 at the Ashes not living up to the Bazball expectations? Can’t see the breathtaking countryside of rural Oxfordshire from the middle at lords?
Swinbrook vs Stanton Harcourt at Home - Saturday 1st July
We look forward to seeing you there! – at Swinbrook, England
