Great Russian composer Sofia Gubaidulina has died aged 93.
One of the most important new music composers, her work drew on her deep spirituality and belief in the transformative power of music. With her daring and original voice, she wrote for some of the finest performers of the 20th and 21st centuries, including Gidon Kremer, Mstislav Rostropovich and Sir Simon Rattle.
Join us as we pay tribute to her artistry today on In Tune, from 5pm on BBC Radio 3.
