This is absolutely nuts and only hitting German papers so far: leaked emails show that seven politicians from Germany's far-right AfD travelled to Syria to meet with Assad regime officials... facilitated by Hezbollah AND Russian intelligence.

โ๏ธReuters reports that a Democratic victory in both chambers of Congress on November 3 could open the way for new US aid to Ukraine. The article says such legislation would likely have the two-thirds majorities needed to override a Trump veto. Democrats could also move against Trump's decision to lift sanctions on Russian diesel and waive sanctions on Russian energy. #Ukraine

First, Elon Musk throttles access to Starlinkโwith potentially lethal consequences for Ukrainians. Now, on his wretched platform X, he allows the blame for this to be shifted onto Ukraine.
It appears to be an orchestrated disinformation campaign designed to turn perpetrators into victims and victims into the guilty party.
It is hard to imagine anything more cynical.

Thick black smoke is observed in Yelets, Russia, where the AO Energiya plant was just attacked. It is now assumed that 3-4 Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG missiles were launched and hit the facility. #Ukraine

New airstrike map update in the Hulialpole/Orikhiv direction suggests Russia abandonned its plans to capture Ternuvate and fully switched west
๐ดKAB impacts from February to August 2026
โช๏ธKAB impacts in September 2026
๐กKAB impacts in October 2026
Every month this year, Russia launched hundreds of KABs (FAB bombs guided by the UMPK kit) on the Hulialpole frontline. They were targeting Ukrainian positions on treelines and villages.
I've noticed how every month, impacts moved further west, as if Russia was trying to destroy methodically every fixed/known position from east to west. Indeed, there is barely any new strike on places which were already bombed, probably to let infiltrations work.
However, the strikes have now moved 10 to 15km east of the frontline, which in itself has barely moved and is still stuck near the first bunch of villages west of Hulialpole. The focus of the strikes and the montly concentration helps understand what was and is Russian plan in this direction :
-> It seems they abandonned Ternuvate, which is a very big victory for Ukraine, since this town protects all the northern flank of this offensive and has multiple high rise buildings were Ukrainian soldiers can hide.
-> Any offensive northwards no seems very difficult, thanks to Ukrainian Oleksandrivka counter-offensive. This forces Russia to fight on the lower ground without controling the heights.
-> The main push is ongoing from Hulialpole in the direction of Zaporizhzhia, aiming at avoiding Orikhiv. Russia is currently dropping bombs in the area of the unfinished second defensive line despite the fact it still has not crossed the first one.
Thank you for following, I will later try to analyse more deeply this direction and what happened this year, especially how Ukraine managed to nearly stop the offensive on Zaporizhzhia. Remember as well how the infiltrations inside of Orikhiv failed and how Ukraine cleaned the city from infiltrators.

Trump is trying to block certification of Alaska's Senate election if the Republican loses.
This is his authoritarianism in real time.
This is why we must do everything we can to win this election, defend democracy and create a government that works for all, not just the 1%.

History continues to be made at the front, as Russians themselves are now openly expressing awe at Ukrainian military operations.
From superior training and coordination between infantry and air support to greater battlefield mobility, even down to smaller backpacks, Russian accounts are acknowledging why Ukrainian forces are gaining ground.
Even with the United States and the world's richest ketamine casualty putting their thumbs on the scale to save Putin, Ukraine continues to clean house.

The significance of Ukraineโs latest attack deep inside Siberia is becoming clear.
The Omsky Kauchuk facility hit tonight is Russiaโs largest producer of MTBE, a critical chemical additive used to manufacture high-octane gasoline.
Yesterday, Ukraine targeted Togliattikauchuk, another major MTBE producer. Other facilities producing the additive, including SIBUR plants and several major Russian refineries, have also come under attack.
A pattern emerging is Ukraine targeting the chemical infrastructure essential to Russia's production of high-grade gasoline.
Without sufficient MTBE or alternative additives, Russia faces growing difficulties producing the fuel its economy and military depend upon.
Ukrainian drones have reached deep into Siberia in a spectacular another long-range operation, targeting Russiaโs massive Omsky Kauchuk chemical plant in Omsk, approximately 2,500 kilometers from Ukraine.
Established in 1962, the Soviet-era industrial giant is one of Russiaโs most important petrochemical producers, with several significant national distinctions:
- Russiaโs largest single-unit MTBE production capacity, producing a critical additive used in high-octane gasoline.
- Russiaโs largest isopropyl alcohol production facility, with an annual capacity of 60,000 tonnes.
- Russiaโs second-largest MTBE producer, accounting for approximately 16% of national production in 2026.
- One of Russiaโs leading phenol producers, accounting for approximately 18% of national production in 2021.
- A top synthetic rubber manufacturer, supplying materials used in tires, industrial equipment, hoses, and other civilian and military applications.

A bipartisan group of U.S. lawmakers has sent a letter to Elon Musk requesting an explanation as to why the provision of Starlink/Starshield services to the Ukrainian armed forces was restricted.
In the letter, the lawmakers point out that while Musk has claimed that decisions regarding restrictions on Starlink connectivity were made by the Pentagon and the U.S. President, public statements suggest that the initiative may have originated with Musk himself.
The lawmakers have requested responses to the following questions by October 31, 2026:
โช๏ธ Have Musk or any representative of SpaceX ever discussed restricting Starlink access for the Ukrainian armed forcesโwithin the territory of Russia or Ukraineโwith President Putin, Trump, or other individuals or representatives acting on their behalf?
โช๏ธ Have Musk, SpaceX, or any entities acting on their behalf restricted, deactivated, or throttled Starlink access for the Ukrainian armed forces this month? If so, why, and at whose direction?
โช๏ธ Have Musk or any representative of SpaceX informed Ukrainian officials of any conditions or required actions necessary to fully or partially restore the Ukrainian armed forces' access to Starlink?
โช๏ธ Did Trump or the White House actually request the restoration of Ukraineโs access to the Starlink and Starshield systems? Have these systems been fully restored? If so, when? If not, why?
โช๏ธ Whoโwhich individuals, agencies, or organizationsโis currently making operational decisions regarding the restoration of full and unrestricted access for the Ukrainian armed forces to the Starlink and Starshield communication systems? The letter was signed by six Democratic members of the U.S. Congress and the Senate: Meeks, Welch, Schiff, Bennet, McGovern, and Crow.
