He was probably the most recognizable face in CSK after MSD
Official Announcement:
A constant presence behind the scenes since our very first season in 2008, Tommy Simsek has played an invaluable role in the journey of Chennai Super Kings.
Your dedication to keeping our players fit and match-ready, including our famous “Dad’s Army” back in the day, has been an important part of our success over the years.
Thank you for your years of service, Tommy Simsek. Wishing you success in the journey ahead.
Headingley graveyard for bowlers last season. Sunrisers Abrar experiment failed & I can’t think of many spinners suited to that venue. Santner’s with Rockets so Narine feels like the only other option butCPL overlap could be issue. MSG too would be interested in Narine
📰| IPL 2027
CSK have officially parted ways with Mike Hussey (Batting Coach), Eric Simmons (Bowling Coach) & Rajiv Kumar (Assistant Batting Coach).
They're set to bring in Gareth Batty as an assistant coach as part of a major coaching staff overhaul ahead of the new season.

Head Coach Gareth Batty is to leave the Club to take up a role with Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.
The Club would like to thank Gareth for overseeing a highly successful period in its history. As Head Coach, Surrey won three County Championship titles in a row from 2022-2024.
Imagine LQ wasting their Direct Signing slot on Wiese just for #QalandarBrothers gimmick 😂

via Cricinfo: Auction set to take place on December 16 in Goa, with the retention deadline set for November 15.
Tom Curran or Billings? Both played for Vipers in their first season but haven’t returned since & both have worked with Moody in The Hundred. Curran’s also unavailable for the first three BBL games, coincidentally until the ILT20 ends so I’d guess Tom Curran (if it's a player)
Are there any high profile non-IPL players eligible for direct signings for next PSL? I can only think of Faf du Plessis (42) & Adil Rashid (38).
Shai Hope was another option but he's ineligible too.
🚨 Abu Dhabi T10 2026 - Player Signing Alert
United Tigers have signed Joe Clarke as a replacement for Mahedi Hasan, who wasn't issued an NOC by the BCB for the league.
Clarke has been picked in Category B.
🚨 NPL 2026 - Player Signing Alert
Lumbini Lions have signed Grant Stewart for the upcoming season. He's the first & only Italian signed in NPL history, & this will be his first franchise stint. He's already with the team in Nepal.
Confirmed overseas signings:
🇱🇰 Niroshan Dickwella
🇦🇺 D'Arcy Short
🇳🇦 Ruben Trumpelmann
🇺🇸 Shadley van Schalkwyk
🇧🇩 Shamim Hossain
🇮🇹 Grant Stewart
They’ve got perfect balance of star power, variety & genuine T20 quality this year. Throw a Sri Lankan in tgere & that’s a pretty solid mix of imports.
Finally seeing some fresh faces in BBL. Feels likethey've been recycling the same set of English imports every year since the Covid seasons. Fizz, Stokes, Bairstow... Allen, Seifert, JOverton, Lockie, Rishad & others have all featured in BBL more recently.
📰| PSL 2027
Nahid, Fizz, Rishad & other Bangladeshi players are set to be available for entire PSL 2027 season.
BCB domestic List A comp is scheduled for May but with PSL set to end on May 2, a scheduling clash is unlikely.
📰| BBL 2026-27
Fizz has applied for NOC for his BBL debut season after being approached by Renegades. BCB president confirmed this today.
Fizz also has an ILT20 deal & a SA tour during the BBL window but is expected to miss only the first couple of games at most.
📰| SA20 2027
Rishad Hossain could miss part of his SA20 stint with SEC after being picked in D3 auction. He's confirmed to be available for four-day games scheduled in January, with exact dates TBC, meaning he'll miss some portion of the SA20 season.

Kusal Perera (🇱🇰) to Janakpur Bolts — here we go! ✅🚨
Janakpur Bolts hijack the deal to secure the experienced Sri Lankan wicketkeeper-batter for NPL Season 3. Known for his explosive batting and international experience, Perera could be a massive addition to the Bolts! 🔥🏏
