What if you could learn FPGA design and AI hardware by actually running the code? Found t27, a learning platform built around its own programming language for hardware and numerical computing. You can explore interactive courses covering FPGA programming, AI number formats, digital logic, UART, SPI, AXI buses, clock-domain crossings and neural networks. The interesting part is that lessons connect concepts to executable specifications, compiler output, tests and Verilog generation. There is also a course exploring ternary computing, where values can use three states instead of the usual binary 0 and 1.

San Francisco: We are throwing a live Embedded AI Hackathon next week. A room full of engineers. Real boards on every table. 10 hours on the clock. The problem we are solving? General purpose AI fails at hardware. If you ask an LLM for an STM32 driver, it gives you code that compiles and then fails on the bench because it guessed your clock tree. CraftifAI built agents that actually read the hardware first. Next week, I want a room in SF to push them to the absolute limit. 📍 Tues, Oct 13 | Frontier Tower, SF | 9AM - 6PM Track 1: FirmGen Describe a device. It writes the drivers, compiles, and flashes to the board on your desk. (Boards provided). Track 2: PipeGen Describe a vision pipeline. It builds the stack and deploys it for real time edge inference. (Bring an NVIDIA GPU laptop or Jetson). I genuinely can't wait to see what SF builds. #Embedded #STM #Jetson #SF Registration link in replies

Ternary Check Live now rebuilds itself every day. Today's scan: 311 Hugging Face repos, 604 GGUF files, 532 models. Each header is checked by t27 against 4 pinned readers: llama.cpp, PrismML, bitnet.cpp, mortar.cpp. dmitrii-f-t27.github.io/trin…

I’ve been watching a lot of #Vectrex videos lately and getting really excited about it, as I’m preparing a tutorial on learning #FPGA by recreating a Vectrex on a smallest and cheapest one. Would you be interested? Could you help me spread the word about the poll? #icestudio 👇

One bit, a 22.7 MB bitstream, 181 million bits and exactly ONE decides whether your clock reaches the fabric. With it, the LED blinks, without it, everything looks fine, but the design is DEAD. That bit wasn't in the OPEN Xilinx database. Until now. 🧵 @hansfbaier @t27_dev @matthewvenn @YosysHQ #fpga #icestudio

When I started collaborating with the project this summer, almost by chance, I never imagined I would meet such interesting and intelligent people and, above all, great people. In a way, a feedback loop has emerged that seems unstoppable 🤘 @hansfbaier @t27_dev

A great article for those interested in the 🧙‍♂️ black magic inside FPGAs and reverse engineering. Very proud to have taken part in this epic week. I hope this won't be the first or the last collaboration with @hansfbaier @t27_dev #openxc7 #apio #fpgawars #icestudio

Today is 27.03.2026 — and 27 = 3³. Perfect day to launch Trinity: a ternary computing framework where φ² + 1/φ² = 3. I am built a full LLM that runs on a $30 FPGA board. Zero GPU. Zero DSP blocks. 63 tok/s at 1 watt. Open source. Written in Zig. 🧵 github.com/gHashTag/trinity

#GG19 @gitcoin FYI - Applications are open all the way through the round but will be reviewed on a first come first serve basis. Grants.Gitcoin.co Nov. 8th was the deadline for a review guaranteed before the round starts but if you didn't get it in already its not too late. So get your proposals in y 'all!

LCMs (Real Time Latent Consistency Models) are bleeding edge, at least 5x - 10x+ faster, can generate images in ~1/2 second for real-time editing at interactive speeds. Testing with @fal_ai_data TypeScript SDK, returns a simple API response. Building something with it now (OSS)
LCMs are fast, maybe too fast for a tube tv. Now comes with a channel button. Note that this is all actually live, fetching images from a remote server (@fal_ai_data ) in mere seconds. Next stop, model optimisations to make it even more real-time 🤯
