my Severance-inspired incremental game is out!

6 weeks ago, I announced my first game, and wow:
- 20k+ players, so almost twice my hometown
- 4k wishlists
- 35.9% demo conversion rate during Next Fest (that's crazy)
- 100% positive reviews on Steam!
so grateful, thank you for your support!
Is it worth putting your demo on itch?
Trust the System just hit 16,000 players on itch (8k+ in the last 4 days!) and I finally got answers I couldn't find on the internet.
So, here's the thread I'd have liked to read before releasing my demo (with stats screenshots) 🧵👇
Wow, this post doesn't have the usual 100 views...
Check out my game on Steam: store.steampowered.com/app/5…
(10/10)
However, contrary to what I first thought: itch is a nice bonus but not a core acquisition tool.
My conversion rate (itch player → Steam wishlist): about 40 wishlists per 1,000 players, so not that much.
Trust the System is one of the 10 incrementals you should play this week! Thanks @paulavaynshteyn for the shout-out
My Steam library is filled with incremental games, and Steam Next Fest is only feeding me more to add to the collection. If you're a fan too, these 10 incrementals should be on your list of must plays this week!

I don't know how this fresh feature from @itchio works, but I'm pretty sure it's the best way to wake up
