Well ServiceNow… $NOW
You’d think they’d just informed everyone they’re going back to the stone age of no internet!
Down 20% after hours on the back of these earnings… TWENTY!
The valuation is rich but they’re still a company growing revenues at 21%, very harsh reaction in my opinion.
Seeing a drop like that is enough to get any shareholders heart pumping and head sweating.
Thankfully, the CEO Bill has just delivered an outstanding earnings call to reassure everyone the trajectory this company is on.
Subscription growth, FCF growth, the backlog and AI specific growth are all very good. Margins need watching, as do the performances of the acquisitions but this is nothing to be concerned about at this stage imo.
This is a growth company that will have various levels of growth over the next five years. I expect they will deliver some pleasant surprises along the way.
I continue to hold and if we’re lucky enough to see $100 again over the coming months, will add heavily again.
Stop asking AI the stuff your dad already knows.
How to jump a car. Why the mower keeps dying. What actually matters when you’re buying a house. The best way to apologize. How he handled it when he was your age.
Those answers come with stories, pauses, and the sound of his voice. AI just gives you text.
Call him while you still can.
More layoffs are coming as we enter the agentic era.

Amid rising prices and AI adoption, US corporations are looking reduce expenses and increase efficiency.
Keep watching the labor market.
One of my favorite thing about starting @truckclub
Meta is making huge moves in the enterprise space. This is a strong move and the right one in my opinion. From my personal time working with CJ, this is a no-brainer to lead your AI enterprise strategy. Congrats CJ!
Replying to @finkd
To lead this effort, I'm excited that Chirantan "CJ" Desai will join Meta as Chief Enterprise Platform Officer, reporting directly to me. CJ is an experienced enterprise leader with a track record of building full-stack software and delivering results in AI, infrastructure, business applications, and security. He has an extensive industry network that we look forward to partnering with. CJ joins us from MongoDB, where he was CEO and President. Before that he led product and engineering at Cloudflare and spent nearly eight years at ServiceNow, including as President and COO.
