If you have optical media that you care about-- especially CD-Rs/CD-RWs/DVD-Rs/DVD-RWs-- start backing them up *now.* This CD-R, burned in April 2005, is the first casualty I've encountered in my personal collection. If you have recordable media older than this, I'd be concerned.
