One thing everyone who defends ICE here is overlooking is that authorities HAVE to tell you who they are. If masked plainclothes men walk up to you and try to get you in their unmarked vehicle, you'll think this is a kidnapping, mugging, or worse. You'll fight for your life.
Genuinely disturbing news - my friend Clara, who you might know as the Super Creek at Trackside, was abducted by ICE at the Rochester Airport on her way home from Uma week. Please read and share her story: facebook.com/share/18Rmm5SHK…

i got to meet clara and she was amazing to chat with (and interact). it pains me to see anyone be so horribly mistreated and it truly hits home when its someone you know.
i try to not be political on my main account to be hireable, but please, vote blue next week.

pls go donate to the gofundme if you can!!!! if this weekend has proven anything, its that the Uma community can come together and turn things around, now lets do it one more time for Clara!!! gofundme.com/f/claras-rent-r…

i cannot believe this isnt like, staged.... like how is this not staged!!! what do you MEAN all they apparently needed only 900k USD??? when the city council has a budget of 7b USD?????????? they just genuinely wanted to close the museum silently without anybody making a fuss
If you watch only one clip from the Philadelphia City Council hearing about the closure of the Academy of Natural Sciences, let it be this one. It — and I don't say this lightly — must be seen to be believed. #SaveTheAcademy

Seriously sick to my stomach, we literally were hotel roommates for Uma 7th and said bye to each other yesterday morning as we split ways. Clara has been nothing but kind and generous. I want so badly to believe this isn't real for her sake but that's not the reality we live in

theres no actual evidence she overstayed her visa outside of AI hallucinating that detail and even if she had, that would not excuse the brutality she faced while being detained. abolish ICE.

this is genuinely insane
tldr:
(as u probably know) us gov refuses to allow uma performers in, concert gets cancelled
cosplayer goes to fan meetup
abducted by 4 men who refuse to show ID but are genuinely ICE members
they tackle her and break her bones for trying to phone call

clara came up to my table at trackside just a couple days ago and we had a wonderful interaction together, i have nothing but nice things to say about her.
this is your reminder that the US midterms is NEXT WEEK and choosing to stay complacent makes you part of the problem. VOTE

If you want to support, look into donating directly to Clara to help out with all the bills they should not be responsible over. We should love our friends and support those in the community. Helping out on a small scale helps out on a large scale!
