Starbucks down so bad they’re doing Minority Report earnestly
Starbucks CEO says the company is planning to focus more on AI and tech, including adding a system that would recognize customers as they arrive in stores to "present personalized digital menus."

Not great, Bob. On a more positive note if any mutuals want to say hi I’ll be at the game Saturday night. They’ve never lost at home when I’ve come down and rooted for them
Stars lose 5-2 to the Canadiens. Postgame on @dfwticket

Didn’t really watch because I was traveling but sounded like Stars looked like a team missing four forwards and having to dress your eighth defenseman. Another clunker. Flush it and come back Saturday

Peter O’Toole knows what he did
Patrick Stewart was a giant of stage and will obviously be remembered as Jean-Luc Picard and Charles Xavier, but he had a great guest spot in a Season 11 episode of Frasier in 2003. Rest in peace to a legend.

I finally mustered the courage to ask Miro if he ever mistypes his name as Mirp and he says sometimes. He is aware of Mirp. MIRPPP

And what about the last 30 years or pretty much any single day in the history of the New York Rangers after June 1940 would give ANYONE any faith they would be a different team or spend that money wisely if Igor made $8.5 million instead of 11.5?

This is the franchise that gave 9 million a year to Bobby Holik.

If there’s a positive tonight, the Stars once again are getting more high danger chances and limiting the Devils. It’s just that the Devils have basically sat on the game since the two minute mark of the first (complimentary) and shot 20 percent at the other end.
Stars have gotten interior, but the Devils have dominated the puck.

Oh great, ANOTHER injury. Because that was about the only thing that hadn’t happened to the Stars tonight

Completely smothering the game AND a 25% shooting performance to boot at the other end? Yeah, see you Thursday #TexasHockey

Fair to say it’s one of those nights where literally nothing’s going right
Jamie Benn tries to spark the Stars by dropping the gloves with Brenden Dillon. Lots of wrestling, no punches thrown. Benn gets 2 for instigating, 5 for fighting and a 10-minute misconduct.

Yeah I can probably go ahead and turn the Stars game off

that’s why they brought back dancing larry

Huh, it's almost like that baseball-adjacent mixed used revenue should be included in any MLB team "revenues" used for determining a cap/floor split.
This stat from the Atlanta Braves is wild 👀 In 2025: ⚾ Baseball business → $51M income 🏙️ Mixed-use business → $68M income The real estate+ businesses surrounding the Braves generated 34% MORE operating income than the baseball team itself.

LOL.
Another goalie injury for #NYR: James Reimer is day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Also, Sean Durzi is getting another maintenance day for today’s practice.

Literally burned a roster spot so the unlikable 38-year-old they signed off the street with horrendous vibes could stink up the place for exactly ONE (1) period and get hurt. There's probably a reason why no one signed him, Chris.
