Focus on the substance of your CV, rather than these "get job quick" schemes. Instead of wasting time making your resumé "ATS-friendly", make it more appealing to the poor schmuck (i.e. me) who has to read hundreds of them 🙏

Cloudflare’s Supercloud feels like what I/we thought AWS’ serverless will become but never did. Definitely, a breath of fresh air.

My fool godson, William, went down to the basement to get a snack four days ago
I told him--every time I tell him--to COUNT the stairs as he goes down. There's only 12. If it goes to 13, come back up and try again. And don't follow the thing singing down there
But does he listen?
Really important advice for my friends here in the US. Loads of adverts (especially on YouTube for some reason) promise free solar. If it seems to good to be true...
“Free solar panels” sounds too good to be true, right? Unfortunately, we’re here to say yes. It is usually masking a payment system that will end up costing more than paying for a home solar with a loan.

One for my US friends... Did you know you could go green and save money with solar, even if you rent or otherwise can't get panels installed?
With community solar, you can:
⚡Save up to 15% on your electricity bill
⚡Lock in savings for 20 years
⚡Cancel anytime
Use our Community Solar Marketplace to find, compare, and subscribe to a local solar farm:

It's driving me nuts. What is the song sampled in the background of the new Gorillaz track? Particularly noticeable at around the 2:30 mark: youtu.be/24tFMeloa18?t=150 Answers on a postcard please.
Every election in the UK since returning from Aus makes me sad. Mainly because our voting system always means voting against the worst, rather than voting *for* the best. But also because of a distinct lack of democracy sausages.
RIP & GNU Mary Coombs. Not just the first woman to work on a commercial software application, but one of the first people (of any gender). theregister.com/2022/03/12/o…
Yeah so last night I may have got drunk and written an obit for Stack Overflow Jobs...

Being a trustee of HSRBSC has been a great experience and I'm honoured to work with such a dedicated team.
We are so lucky to have such wonderful Trustees at @HomeStartRSC.
Our latest post is in tribute to #TrusteesWeek2021 and was written by Lois, who retired from her role earlier this year and shares her Home-Start journey: buff.ly/3wfdQ6t
