Meta’s cuddly spy called Muse has exposed private conversations by making links to shared chats publicly searchable. Predictable.
When someone shared a conversation, Meta created a web link with the title of that conversation. Those links ended up in publicly accessible records where strangers could find them.
Security firm Claroc discovered more than 6,800 shared conversations with a single search. Some contained sensitive personal and business information, including a loan application, a bank fraud alert and confidential company documents.
Anyone who found these links could open the conversations without a password or permission from the person who shared them.
Meta says it has suspended the sharing feature, but records of the exposed links remain publicly accessible.
💡 Meta should shut down this service. It’s riddled with security vulnerabilities and poses serious risks to everyone’s privacy, including people who don’t use it.
It doesn’t matter if you don’t use any of Meta’s products. If someone gives Muse access to their emails, messages or other private accounts, highly sensitive information about you could end up in Meta’s hands without your knowledge or consent.
If someone shares conversations you’ve had with them, or talks about you in messages Muse can access, Meta will learn who you know, what you’ve said, what you’re thinking, your emotional state and your personal vulnerabilities.
That kind of information is being used to build detailed profiles and social graphs about people who’ve never used Muse or agreed to share anything with Meta. You’d have no way of knowing what information had been collected about you or how it was being used.
And because Meta is a US company, information it holds is subject to demands from US authorities.
This is an extraordinary invasion of privacy, including the privacy of people who’ve never used the service.

SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY will stream on NETFLIX only in December, as part of the $7-8 BILLION deal the company has with Sony.
It’s expected to be the most streamed Netflix’s non-original film of all time. Sony BTW also produced the most streamed Netflix’s original film (KPOP).

Some that I have alluded to and hinted at have already come out or at least been officially revealed. Several of them were revealed a little later than I expected but they still came (See: God of War 2D Sons of Sparta, Days Gone Remastered, Patapon, Everybody's Golf Hotshots, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Okami 2, etc) but many of them have yet to be revealed and are still in development, especially for the Next Generation PS6.
Hideaki Nishino is the person I have supported and advocated to achieve the position he now has, as President & CEO of SIE/PlayStation.
In my conversations with fellow Analysts, Executives, & ADR/Shareholders these were the reasons I supported him:
🔵1️⃣ An understanding & focus on PlayStation Console Hardware as the Primary Platform Priority.
🔵2️⃣ A nostalgia for Classic PlayStation Games from the PS1 & PS2 Generations and a fondness for Co-Op games.
🔵3️⃣ A gamer with a love For Single Player Games such as Bloodborne
🔵4️⃣ A Japanese executive that has been with Sony for years and appreciates the culture with an understanding of what worked in the past, what's happening in the present, & what plans can be made to reach a better future. He has a great vision to guide the future of PlayStation, with an appropriate amount of caution and flexibility to overcome challenges.
🔵5️⃣ An in-depth understand of what made PlayStation Great in the first place. He desires to end off of the PS5 Generation strong with several great games and hit the ground running, with a clean slate and amazing line up of games, for the PS6 Generation.
I was excited to hear that the guy I wanted was picked to become the sole CEO of SIE and I enjoyed listening to his comments at last year's Business Segment Meeting.
As I said previously, despite some unfortunate rumors and news, there is a bright future ahead for PlayStation and I greatly look forward to this year's G&NS (Games & Network Services) Business Segment Meeting & the next PlayStation Games Presentation later this Spring (May/June)!
You Won't Want To Miss Them!

The irony is that many people, two years ago, wanted Sony to go back to their fundamentals. When people ask for that you're asking them to go back to fiscal conservativity (e.g. not over spending on live service or bloated projects to get you more games) while also allowing creators to get a chance.
Unfortunately, this is what that looks like. If a creators vision no longer makes sense from a time and resource perspective the leash will be short. When the new regime took over you immediately seen signs of the shift back to conservative PlayStation.
Going back to exclusives, being more involved in the Japanese market, or outsourcing their IPs to external creators that give them more flexibility (to fund and pull funding for games), they are acting like the PlayStation you grew up with.

Sony/PlayStation offered to acquire Kojima Productions multiple times and Kojima kept saying no. They made one more acquisition offer recently and he said no again; which resulted in the pulling of funding because the Cost/Risk analysis wasn't worth it if the game couldn't be fully exclusive to the PlayStation Console, instead of just timed exclusive.
Ironically, the policy we all wanted, which was to end porting PlayStation games to PC, is part of the reason PlayStation stopped trying to fund Kojima's over budget game that was missing milestones.
In Sony/PlayStation's calculation: Losing some money on an MGS successor would have been worth it for brand/PlayStation Console value & clout but only if it was a fully exclusive game to the PlayStation Console, not just a timed exclusive.

Bloomberg: Sony backed out of PHYSINT because:
🔵 Death Stranding 1 & 2 didn’t meet PlayStation’s revenue expectations
🔵 PHYSINT missed deadlines and concerns it would go well over budget
🔵 Sony was reluctant to invest 100s of millions of dollars for another game not permanently exclusive to PlayStation hardware

Yeah I do not give a fuck about them Wolverine reviews lmao. Put the game in my hands and let me decide for myself
There is a reason kojima has fumbled every company he worked with btw. Regardless of what you think of his games you need to realize he's the only common variable in all these incidents.
