As an Immigrant, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to secure that first job as a Product Designer in the UK, let alone advance to a better role. When I first moved here three years ago, I encountered many obstacles.

Our Product Design Mentorship class is up to an amazing class in the 6th week with the amazing @RealKennyEdward and the super @egbeyemiridwan . Mentees are sweating it on the Figma and they are also getting very constructive feedback from them as well.

I tried my hands on prototyping with Figma during this exercise just to have a feel of how the designs interacted with each other. Prototyping transcends just "connecting 2 screens with 1 wire" abeg 😃 @techhavenHQ @fof_uyo @bella_mfonobong @oluwa_socket

Today's class with @RealKennyEdward was really exciting. We compressed the 5-day Google sprint method into a 3hrs virtual sprint for the students to experience first-hand how to use research and collaboration to design working prototypes for quick product validation.

I started out in Product design this January with #DailyUI challenge, touched Figma for the first time in December. Even though I still have a long way to go, I am proud of how far I've come. All thanks to bootcamps by @ukngtechhub @fof_uyo @techhavenHQ

Last year you did not know Figma Last year you could not code a sign up form Last year you could not design a website Last year you could not push to Github These are the things that indicate progress. It don't matter if you are the best yet Keep pushing
