The longevity exercise everyone over 40 should be doing: Plyometrics. You lose explosive power faster than strength as you age. And almost no one knows how to rebuild it. Here are 5 beginner plyometric exercises to get you jumping again:

One of my favorite exercises for cranky knees: Isometric Spanish squat. Band behind your knees, sit back, shins almost vertical, hold. 3-5 sets of 30-45 seconds. Your quads do the work while your knees get a break.

Two guys over 50 want to lose 20 lbs. Guy 1: • Runs 5 days a week • Gets hungrier • Eats it all back at dinner Guy 2: • Lifts 3 days a week • Walks most days • Tracks his food 6 months later, only one of them needs new pants.

This guy lost 71 lbs in 6 months. All while working 55-hour weeks as a senior engineer, starting on 4 hours of sleep and 5 coffees a day. If you know exactly what to do and still can’t make it stick... Here’s how he did it (& how you can copy him):

6 months in: • 71 lbs down (285 → 214) • Lowest weight in 10 years • Sleeping 6-8 hours instead of 4 • Confident enough to take photos in his Star Wars boxers And my favorite thing he told me: “I feel better, I move better, I sleep better, and my mood is better.”

15 rules that keep guys over 50 out of physical therapy: 1. Have hard days and easy days 2. Keep your body fat under 20% 3. Walk 7,000+ steps a day 4. Train on the road (a 15-minute hotel workout counts) 5. Build up to sprinting over months 6. Train your grip 7. Pain-free isn’t the same as ready 8. Fix small tweaks early 9. Stop a set when your form breaks 10. Lower the weight before you skip the exercise 11. Treat recovery as part of training 12. Train the muscles you can’t see in the mirror 13. Get coached on the big lifts 14. Lift weights and do cardio 15. Train around injuries with blood flow restriction (tight bands on your arms or legs) I learned most of these the hard way.

Most warm-ups are a few arm circles and a hamstring stretch. Try a walking lunge with a medicine ball rotation: 1. Hold a light med ball at chest height 2. Step into a lunge 3. Turn the ball toward your front leg 4. Come back to center and step through 2 sets of 8-10 reps per side. Your hips, upper back and balance all get warmed up in one move.

Dumbbell external rotations: Light weight, elbow away from your side, 2-4 sets of 10-15 before upper body days. Most guys train their chest twice a week and their rotator cuff never. Then they blame the bench press.

Goes for rehab and workouts as well Funny thing about AI is that it’s only as good as what you train it on So if you lack experience and knowledge, your protocols are gonna suck but sound impressive (to those that don’t know any better)
AI is trained on NPC doctor data It’s protocols suck and it’s way too risk averse to actually fix a complex issue Shit data in, shit protocols out
