Whatever you think of this ad, the fact that anyone could spin it as antisemitic is gobsmacking. The only way you can do that is to equate the nation-state of Israel with all Jews everywhere, which is insane.
I’m sick to my stomach. I honestly never thought that I would witness such an antisemitic piece of American political propaganda in my lifetime. This is Nazi-Islamic antisemitism delivered against the Jewish collective in 2026 in the United States. By endorsing Abdel El-Sayed, the Democratic Party has crossed a threshold that signals a sickening decay of dangerous proportions to the American Jewish community. If this ad isn’t pulled with an explicit apology to the Jewish community, I will say Kaddish over my country of birth. I’m disgusted by what was once a great country. Voting Democratic is now like voting for the Nazi party. Anyone who rationalizes this ad as anything other than an Islamic-Nazi propaganda piece that scapegoats the collective Jew for cheap political currency has succumbed to antizionist brainwashing.

THIS IS BRAVE: A political ad just released in Michigan tackles the almost unmentionable (in the US) topic of the billions of taxpayer dollars being sent to Netanyahu’s Israel. It features a harried mother and father buying food for their children.
Israel cannot vote itself out of its pariah status. That's permanent.
I said I wasn’t going to weigh in on who should be prime minister of Israel as that is a decision for Israeli citizens. I did, however, want to share one point of view from the perspective of someone who has an understanding of how Israel is perceived in America.
Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich have caused Israel enormous reputational damage with their statements and actions which are presented in the global media as representing the voice and will of all Israelis.
As such, a government formed without Ben-Gvir and Smotrich will send a message to the rest of the world that Israel is turning a new page.
This will allow Israel to rebuild lost credibility, increase the opportunity for an expansion of the Abraham Accords, and enjoy a better relationship with Democrats and Republicans and Americans at large.
Maybe they should have settled someplace that wasn't owned by other people.
Democrats are poised to win the midterms. But it’s only because voters want to send a message: they’re angry at the Republicans for not using their majority to improve their quality of life. Democrats are just as likely to ignore the anger of the voters—and face their wrath in the not-too-distant future.
