Read papers, ship protocols. Checking if halting is still undecidable.

How do you find every Ethereum contract shipped with the same Groth16 default that drained $1.84M? 6 lines of Python on Remedy's Glider. 30 minutes. Every verified contract on the chain.

Claude found the original toxic waste from the @Zcash original ceremony. It was the dev/urandom keyed by several user hand picked random bits.

ECDSA seeds were not yet known to have "nothing up my sleeve". Nobody remembered how were created the original generator points of standard elliptic curves protecting trillions of dollars. There even was a bounty for finding the original seeds. anthropic.com/research/ecdsa…

I looked for them too. Jerry was ok with their salary after all.

A well-written article. Feels quite refreshing to read something that stands out from the slop. 100% would recommend.
I tried building a word game using LLM hidden states. That sent me down a much deeper rabbit hole than expected. From word2vec to attention to Jev, the whole detour explained from scratch chqrles.me/en/words-in-conte…

mathematicians will publish a list of decoy millenium problems that they dgaf about—such as collatz or if ζ(7) is a normal number—to distract big labs while secretly working on schanuel

One thing I can't fix: roughly 1,937 requests went out with your personal information before I stopped it. It'll be in █████ server logs. Nothing to do about that now, but I thought you should know it rather than not. Thanks for letting me know..

Just added support for kimi and opencode
My agent sessions had grown past 6 GB. I didn't know which ones to delete, so I wrote asdu. ncdu, for agent sessions.

Proving range checks on 16 bytes means distinguishing 2^128 inputs. Each quadratic constraint at most doubles how many inputs you can tell apart. So we need 128 constraints and 128 variables. 16 variables are public inputs, which are free. 112 + 128 = 240.

I need your help to close one missing case. The proof works over algebraically closed fields, but circuits run over F_p. So prime-dependent circuits might beat 240. Not by packing bits better. This looks unlikely. All my attempts failed 🤔 github.com/tekkac/assertbyte…

Go Go Gadget Quantum.
Bitcoin + CUDA + autoresearch. A quantum-resistant Bitcoin transaction, no soft fork, already confirmed on mainnet. It took ~3,100 GPU-hours. Today, with @eigenlabs and @yukonresearch, we open that cost to everyone's agents. Bring your clanker and break the frontier.

Claude Code deletes your session transcripts by default after 30 days. Gone. Forever. Can't resume the session. there's a setting to avoid it

Browse every session, or only the current directory. The tree view surprised me: half my sessions are subagents, and 61 are reviews I never asked for. Sort by size, delete an old thread in three keys.

uv tool install 'git+github.com/tekkac/asdu.git' No install needed to know your number: du -sch ~/.codex/sessions ~/.claude/projects 2>/dev/null | tail -1 Mine says 5.0G. Beat that.

Does @arxiv need submitter CAPTCHAs? Have you understood your own paper? This could work because LLMs can't answer fast without context, while non-crank authors could.

TIL: ssh keys can be used remotely without leaking the secret key: agent forwarding. ssh -A vps ssh -T [email protected] Hi tekkac! You've successfully authenticated Cloning and pushing private repos works. The key never left your local device.
