Man, this one hurts. Star Trek: The Next Generation was my first real sci-fi show) and one of my first favorite shows period largely because of Patrick). Add X-Men and others (check out his guest roles in Frasier and Extras!) - just a phenomenal actor.
Hyperstorm. He was:
-A major Fantastic Four nemesis; they have a great track record with villains.
-Maybe the most powerful of the overpowered 80s/90s villains. See Exodus, Legion, Apocalypse, Sinister etc.
-(SPOILERS)
The alt-future son of Franklin Richards and Rachel Summers!
My latest with Al Jazeera.
An underappreciated but important legal debate is happening that potentially has huge implications for defending and enforcing civil rights in the U.S.

I suspect Jay-z will do it himself one year, and given his return to performing it could be next year.
Taylor will likely do it one year soon.
And I've long said an Outkast reunion for the Half Time Show (or anything) would hit like a meteor.
I've seen a lot of these kind of posts recently and they're so frustrating. Two things can be true:
-Thor has lightning powers apart from the hammer
-Whoever is worthy of wielding the hammer gets Thor's powers, which includes lightning
Nas has gotten a lot of criticism at various points.
But he made Illmatic, a record that almost single-handedly changed the way rappers rap. It's hard to argue against that.
Nothing ever affects Nas.
That nigga made “Illmatic” and has been smooth sailing ever since lol
He has managed to escape being held to the same standards that every other goat-level emcee is held to.
Nothing ever applies to him.
He gets nothing but praise and none of the criticism.
He has also benefited more than anyone from Jay-Z’s existence.
Because Jay is so successful and polarizing, he takes all the hits and that allows Nas to operate under the radar.
It’s quite the privilege lol
Side note: anyone remember Baywatch Nights? From what I recall (being a kid at the time) the premise was that David Hasselhoff's character moonlighted as a private eye investigating paranormal activity a la X-Files. Like actual supernatural stuff set in the Baywatch universe lol.
Did you know there is a movie about what happens if the rest of the Fantastic Four die and Johnny Storm has to raise Valeria?
Well, more or less.
While I'm not a big fan of either movie (I haven't seen Daredevil in ages though), I think Ben Affleck is much better cast as Matt than as Bruce. There's a certain "I'm really competent but also self-loathing and self-sabotaging" aspect to Matt that Ben is really good at playing.
Just in case this isn't clickbait:
It took Peter and MJ three movies to fall in love the first time. She was kinda his friend in Homecoming, they started dating in Far From Home, and were in love in No Way Home. Now, she's back at square one.
#Lanterns question: When Hal sets up the big battle in Ep. 5 between the Manhunter's militia and the alien bounty hunters, how did he THINK it would go? Like I'd understand if he'd launched a risky plan & it went sideways, but I don't see how the plan COULD'VE gone differently.
My son: "Did they still have tickets (for arcade games) back in the day, you know, when you were a child."
Me: "Hey" *gives him look*
My son: "I didn't mean it like that. I just meant when you were a kid, in the 1900s."

We’re going to record a podcast tonight! Ask anything below and we will answer your questions on the show!
*Sigh* I do NOT want to do this, but while it's the type of suggestion Trump WOULD make, it's out of context. It sounds like Trump is saying (in rambling fashion) that "artificial[ly]" high gas prices are a small price to pay compared to Iran taking out a city like LA or SD (1/2)
My final write-up for #Lanterns! Check out my thoughts on the season finale (including a detour into comparing John Stewart and Miles Morales - no, not just because of *that* reason).

SPOILERS
Just so we're clear, #Lanterns is a story about a Black man who gets blackmailed and guilt-tripped into paying literal reparations to a white woman for the stuff that a white guy did? Got it.
I really like the show - more thoughts soon - but that part is...a choice lol
