i dont like how dismissively you all talk about nagabes bl works
ME MATA como Nagabe escribió uno de los mangas más tristes y devastadores de todos los tiempos y luego se dedicó a producir porno furry tras porno furry tras porno furry

ppl are going to call op crazy but its not difficult to find pro-ai people interacting excitedly with this discourse
hi they're trying to make you hate fic writers so it stops being taboo to read ai fics

not saying that's how this started but i do think the "fuck writers we dont need you" sentiments are being boosted by pro-ai types & everyone should be more careful with fostering the idea that content matters more than the creatives behind it

fic writers should expect their works to be reuploaded & mass distributed bc ao3 has a download button but theyre self important clout-addicted brats for expecting kudos & comments even tho ao3 has a kudos button & comment box & reader engagement is encouraged by the site itself

does anyone know how to solve this by tomorrow
hate that i dont have enough energy to do the things i like. all the energy i have is invested in the one thing i hate the most (my job) bc its an obligation

writers should write for themselves in that their own interests, not the interests of the masses, should drive their creativity. however, its obvious that anyone posting publicly desires interaction to some extent & i dont understand why that desire is now being demonized
feels like what a lot of newer ao3 posters really want to do is make their fics only available in patreon sort of deal- where you have to pay for access to them with engagement and comments and kudos- and that's what's going to finally kill off fandoms completely

ppl used to beg for reviews in their summaries. they would promise review4review. there were whole communities where authors could post their fics & request for reviews. not saying we should go back to any of this But Like.

audiences can talk about what they want from fic writers but fic writers cant talk about what they want from audiences...there shouldnt even be such a huge binary to begin with but thats where we are right now & it #tome seems one side is being unfairly maligned
