Je suis rentrĂ© de Dallas hier suite a l'Ă©vĂ©nement Tesla Roadster, de retour en France pour assister au grand incendie de mon pays đŸ‡«đŸ‡·. 🧠 Un des syndromes les plus tristes en psychologie, c'est la malĂ©diction du savoir. C’est quand tu comprends trop vite. Quand tu analyses chaque mot, chaque silence, chaque regard. Tout est dĂ©jĂ  dĂ©cortiquĂ© par ton esprit avant mĂȘme que l’autre ait fini de te parler. Tu vois les contradictions, les incohĂ©rences, les mensonges derriĂšre certains sourires. Tu perçois les blessures que les autres essaient de cacher, les intentions derriĂšre les mots, les changements de ton, les dĂ©tails que personne ne semble remarquer. Ton cerveau, toujours en alerte, ne sait plus vraiment se reposer. Dans les Ă©tats d’hypervigilance, l’amygdale, impliquĂ©e notamment dans la dĂ©tection des menaces et des signaux Ă©motionnellement importants, peut devenir particuliĂšrement rĂ©active. Le cortex prĂ©frontal, qui participe entre autres au contrĂŽle de l’attention et Ă  la rĂ©gulation des rĂ©actions Ă©motionnelles, tente de donner du sens Ă  tout ce qui se passe. Alors tu analyses. Tu anticipes. Tu prĂ©vois. Comme si ignorer quelque chose Ă©tait plus dangereux que de tout savoir. Mais ce savoir a un prix. À force de chercher ce qui se cache derriĂšre chaque mot, chaque geste et chaque silence, tu n’arrives plus Ă  profiter de la lĂ©gĂšretĂ© des choses. Alors la question est simple : Voir ce que les autres ne voient pas est-il un don ou une malĂ©diction qui te condamne Ă  ne jamais rĂ©ellement trouver la paix de l’esprit ?

We’re sharing a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem, one of the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics. The proof was produced by a group of agents, using an OpenAI next-generation model significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra. The problem concerns whether the description of smooth three-dimensional fluid motion modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations can break down. It has remained unresolved for roughly 90 years.

i think if we fully simulated a human brain and body like this, it would become conscious. genuinely, why wouldn't it be? imagine we used a more advanced AI model (like GPT-10) to: > recreate the complete anatomy of a human brain, nervous system and body > simulate how it all works, including the electrical signals, chemical activity and feedback between brain and body > give that simulated human a world indistinguishable from ours > let it interact with that world, learn and form memories through the same mechanisms we do what would actually prevent it from experiencing it all as a conscious being? its biology and the world it interacts with would work exactly like ours, after all. and if that human agent became conscious, how would it know its world was simulated? how do we know we aren't just simulated agents ourselves??
