Show me your partners' best attempt of "wrapping" your gift. This is my husband's stellar job . He said he couldn't find a bag to put it in. I said we had some old Amazon gift bags that were bigger, and maybe one of them would work, so this is what he did with it.

When I see an active rail line that is barely used, I tend to think about what a wonderful trail it would make.

Engaging with community members to talk about trails is one of the best parts of consulting!
So much fun facilitating a trail session at the Upper Bay of Fundy Destination Development Summit at Poley! Great to see you @jasonmthorne - great things are happening!

This past weekend we were in Fredericton for a conference. We parked our car at the hotel and used the @CityFredGov trails to get around safely and securely. My only concern are the people sleeping rough along the trail- we need to do better.

This morning I had the opportunity to sit on a panel at @WorldTrailsNet conference in Skiathos, Greece. What an amazing experience and so many passionate people who share the same love I have for trails all in one room! #experienceskiathos
I hope the damage is minimal. I have had some photos shared with of other trails in Atlantic Canada and it's not pretty.
NOTE: Please avoid using the trails on NCC properties in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, and the western region of Newfoundland until further notice. Updates will be provided as we learn more about how Hurricane Fiona has impacted these areas.
Stay safe neighbours...
Due to an ongoing police operation, First Street is closed. Cranston Ave is closed from Second St to Somerset St. Please avoid the area. Anyone nearby is asked to shelter in place. Further information to follow.
The Northern Ontario Tourism Trails Strategy was recently released by Destination Northern Ontario. I had the good fortune of developing the strategy through my consulting partnership with Kirsten Spence called Creative Trails Canada.

Why are people heading out on the trails during the pandemic? •Break up the monotony of the day •enjoy physically distanced time w/friends •Fresh air •Freedom •Connection with nature •The cost is relatively NIL- there's no need to buy expensive equipment cc: @thewrightpage

I wrote the following Op-Ed that was published in The Guardian (PEI provincial newspaper). "Trails Can Stimulate the Economy in Atlantic Canada"... theguardian.pe.ca/opinion/lo…
