Only one safety improvement proposed by S&D was accepted. MEPs of ECR, EPP and many Renew – such as Polfjard, Huitema - chose to listen to Bayer and BASF instead of to farmers, scientists and citizens. Citizen polls show people back these rules. Thank you to those MEPs who did stand up and fight hard for the environment, health and freedom of choice."
