One democratic way you could "align" LLMs would be to make RLHF participation a civic duty, like voting. Although I wonder if it would learn a bimodal representation of the data, and, in effect, have a split personality. @OpenAI has anyone tested something like this?

Kind of interesting that our notion of the 5 senses doesn't cover any endocrine signaling. When I feel an adrenaline rush, or endorphins, or anger, it seems like I'm using a sense to perceive it
