We should all personally thank Howard Yaruss and Ken Coughlin - activists for @transalt for volunteering to be traffic guards at the intersections of 72nd when their PERSONAL 2 way bike lane is installed. Against the objection of the 20,000 residents on 72nd and tens of thousands more in the community along with every small business like tip top shoes- these 2 and their bike cult told us last night we are going to love being mowed down by the e-bikes!! So thanks again for volunteering to show us why we will love it and how “enforcement” will work when no bike is licensed or registered and the @NYCMayor eliminated any enforcement on bikes.
Ken specifically should get a promotion for fulfilling his lobbyist duties to the NRA version of the bike lobby by giving every resident the proverbial middle finger who over and over expressed safety concerns- Once again proving @CB7Manhattan is not a volunteer community group - but a bunch of lobbyists acting on behalf of billionaire well funded activist organizations.

We are taking proactive steps, including increasing coordination across agencies and enhancing patrols of sensitive locations out of an abundance of caution.

A vehicle reportedly struck the entrance to the Chabad Lubavitch World Headquarters in Brooklyn tonight, a horrifying incident. Fortunately, there are no reported injuries at this time.

I met PM Netanyahu today after his speech at the UN assembly. I was overwhelmed with negative comments from left-leaning Israelis. So, I will say this again: I will always respect ANY reasonable Israeli leader in power, regardless of politics.
Respect is not about agreeing with every policy—it's about recognizing the immense weight a leader carries as the head of the only Jewish state in the world.
That ALONE commands my respect, even if I may or may not disagree with the politics.

The majority of Americans support Israel. Simple as that. They understand that an ally is under attack - and that the stakes are high for both Israel and for America in its fight against terror.
The support is obvious when you see that last night Congress overwhelmingly passed a budget bill that included:
➡️ A ban on US funding for UNRWA until 2025
➡️ The elimination of funding for the UN Commission of Inquiry against Israel
➡️ Full funding for the US's annual security commitment of $3.3 billion for Israel, which allocates funding for the Iron Dome and other defensive systems.
