We had someone whose whole job was to take all the code updates for the day and manually merge them then zip up that merged codebase and have it ready for the morning when people came back in
Bro, I have a GENIUE question. Before GIT existed in 2008, where did developer push their code ? How did they merge everyone's code without Chaos? HOW did they survive without GitHub ?

Me showing up to an event ran by Divine I used vacation time for.
I really, REALLY didn't want it to come to this, but here we are. I want to address concerns about possible fake participants being added to Mexican dojos to help @DivineExorcist4 qualify for the Tekken World Tour. First, @deerarmyesports is not involved in any of this. We have always marked every DQ, reported attendance accurately, and done everything by the book, even when that meant losing a higher points tier in every single one of our Dojos. We reported similar concerns about dojos in Panama last year, but no action was taken. I understand the frustration this has caused, but it does not justify doing the same here. We have already reported our concerns involving Divine to Bandai Namco officials as well. The events I am referring to are Fist of Lion 2 and Boneless Dojo. Fist of Lion 2 had several unconfirmed accounts that raised concerns about whether those entrants were real participants. The event also was not shared with a large portion of our community, which made me question whether participation was being deliberately limited to help Divine secure the points. For Boneless Dojo, I noticed suspicious participant entries being added while monitoring registration. The participant list was then made private. This raised concerns that the event might be aiming for the 64+ tier without enough actual attendees. For context, even at SFactor, the biggest event in our country, we fell short of that tier after I correctly marked every DQ. When 64+ points were awarded by mistake, I immediately reported the error. That is the standard I have always held myself and our events to. Separately, a TO from northern Mexico contacted me to report that @LemusAlexanderF, Divine’s brother, had approached him about hosting dojos with fake participants. According to this TO, the requests included whether they could “not DQ people that don't show up” and whether they had photos of a full venue that could be submitted as attendance evidence. The TO told me he refused. I'm hoping Namco could accept the conversation as evidence but I remember something similar happened with @SergieMazter and Namco officials did not take action. I am sharing these concerns because they affect players who spend their own money and time competing honestly, and it affects the community reputation as a whole. As someone who has spent years organizing a large portion of Mexico’s tournaments, it hurts to have to speak about this within our own community. I care about our players and want to see them qualify, but it has to be earned FAIRLY.

if this PHP vulnerability allows remote code execution, doesn't that mean we can use the vulnerability to auto-patch all vulnerable servers?

Breaking up with someone then getting mad at them for not moping around over you for a socially acceptable amount of time is so funny
Broke up with my ex of 2 years about 2 months ago and she’s already moving on with a new guy. What a waste of 2 fucking years.

I'm sorry but I'm dying laughing at this whole thing. We were really born in the BEST timeline.
I’m a forgiving person and I can hear the remorse in your voice so I forgive you. However, there are still consequences to said actions that will prompt me not to attend. Use the money you offered me in contract to hire artists, and maybe next year I’ll reconsider. Sorry.

Do people really think that if you have a 30k limit on a credit card you HAVE to max that out?
For salaried people, credit cards are literally one of the worst financial decisions you can make. You spend more than you possess, once you get paid & repay the loan, you do not have enough money left for the rest of the month so you use the card again. It’s a never-ending cycle

You shouldn’t even know the interest rate on your credit card, and if you do, you probably should stick to a debit card.
A lot of people are mad at them for saying this, but credit cards literally have a gang of essentially free rewards for using them in the US. All you basically have to do is use them for things you'd normally use debit for anyway and pay them off each month. That's the tech.

Whenever there is discourse about credit cards, insurance, 401Ks, etc on here, I am reminded that a sizable portion of the population doesn’t actually understand the world around them and think things just inexplicably happen to them
