When watching it today remember it is really windy. Quite extreme weather. So when a pass looks weird or a centre back doesn't head it when it looks easy it could be related to that.
Jurgen used to mention the wind and everyone used to lose their minds.

Today, Brad Lander, rabbis, and other New Yorkers accompanied Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest. For that, they were detained by the Israeli government.
Harvesting olives is not illegal. The occupation is.
I am thankful that Brad has been released. But other New Yorkers remain detained, and they must be released immediately.
The same Israeli government detaining them has committed a horrific genocide against Palestinians, killing more than 74,000 people over the last few years alone.
The detention of these New Yorkers must end. The occupation must end. The genocide must end.

I think the guy flipping burgers at McDonald’s should be able to afford rent, bills, and groceries with his paycheck alone. That’s kind of the whole point of having a job and I can’t believe this is considered a radical position for me to take.
The side of Wirtz’s game nobody talks about…and if they do, he gets criticised for it…why?
Wirtz Absolutely SMASHES Declan Rice in effectiveness here, absolutely unreal! Why some people can't see the wood for the trees is redonkulous. #ynwa

Nine chances created from Florian Wirtz v Brentford (all from open play).
No Liverpool player on record (from 2003-04) has ever created more in a single Premier League game. #LFC

Florian Wirtz is the first player to create 9 chances in a PL game in two years.
Last player to do it: Dejan Kulusevski vs Man United in September 2024.

Trey Nyoni is a catalyst for Wirtz, finding him in the pockets of space. Flo rediscovers his joy for the game when someone who understands his personality is around him.
There was one sequence in particular: Trey → Wirtz → Barcola, built around two vertical passes, with Wirtz receiving on the half-turn and immediately playing a pass in behind the defensive line to release the runner (Barcola).
The art lies in putting together a team where players feel comfortable around one another, which in turn translates onto the pitch. The environment will always be the priority when it comes to getting the best out of players #LFC
“Why do you baby Wirtz so much?!”
Looking for any silver lining in a transfer that hasn’t worked out so far is babying now. Yet nobody has an issue with the other extreme. Let’s all join the pile on & give our players stick in a tough period. Because that’s what they need 👍

I don’t think you have a dog in this fight but if you did you would have shot it.
I’ll take @ellalangleymsic over Kacey Musgraves any day.
And if I’m choosin’ Texas, I’ll take Ken Paxton over James Talarico.
