#OffFest award for shows at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe @EdFringe: #NewNoms for “Antonio!” from Butch Mermaid Productions @thejduce at theSpace @thespaceuk – congratulations! More on OffFest at offies.london/offfest-fringe… #OffFest award for shows at the 2023… dlvr.it/SvT5Vp
In non-Fringe news, stay tuned for March, when I will have written an essay nominally about / related to / inspired by ‘fuck the pain away,’ which, now that I type it out loud, feels wildly presumptuous and ambitious 😳
More picks: 41. Allie Leach selects Tilly and the Wall's "Rainbows in the Dark." 42. Elise Gorzela grabs The Veronicas's "Untouched." 43. @theJDuce makes sure we have Peaches's "Fuck the Pain Away" in this tournament, which is a RIGHTEOUS choice.

What if The Bard wasn't just reusing a character name, but was instead inspired by one hopelessly romantic, booty and heart-stealing pirate? Antonio! premieres at @TheTankNYC (then onward to #edfringe!). It's punk, gay, and super cheap with code QUEERJOY. thetanknyc.org/calendar-1/20…

Here's 5 Queer Musicals you won't want to miss at #EdFringe this year - from Shakespeare to Section 28, these shows just scream celebration, protest, love, and reclamation. Be sure to support #QueerArtists this coming festival ➡️ buff.ly/3O1WdBH
We're into the last hour of our @BoostedNZ campaign to bring two very queer musical shows to #edfringe this August (with premieres and previews in NYC)! Gender euphoric musical chaos and a pirate punk Shakespearean musical. boosted.org.nz/projects/quee…
This is one of the most rewarding and joyous projects I've ever had the honour of being part of. I'm so proud. It is also expensive to tour internationally. So of course, we're fundraising on @BoostedNZ. If you can help, we'll love you forever: boosted.org.nz/projects/quee…
But money is not the only way to support us. If you're in NYC or Edinburgh, come see the shows! Share and like our stuff on insta @ butchmermaidproductions. Tell your friends. Be the queer joy and representation you want to see in the world. linktr.ee/butchmermaid
