You can spend 10 years in Lagos and not achieve anything. Just rotating in one level, "having fun" and paying bills and your mates in smaller cities move past you, with solid buildings and businesses. It can also give you your big break faster than those other places.
Very dangerous city of illusions.

Having a train that takes you directly to the airport is genuinely one of the top 10 things a city can offer. No expensive taxis, no sitting in traffic, no begging someone to drop you off. Just get on the train and arrive at the airport. Every major city should have this.

You travelled to where for staycation?????
I was never afraid of death because I know it’s inevitable. What I feared most was prison. But last year, Nigeria happened to me in a way I never imagined.
I travelled to (Niger Republic 🇳🇪)for a staycation, but upon arriving at the Seme border, my passport was confiscated, and I was locked up for two days. I was accused of being a forensic terrorist sent by the Nigerian government to spy on them.
Their judge eventually sent me to Yahmeh Prison, where I faced my worst fear and spent three months behind bars before members of the Igbo Union came to my rescue.
That experience changed me forever. Now, I feel like there’s nothing left in this world that can scare me. I have faced one of my greatest fears, survived it, and come out a different person.
