This is my #NaNoWriMo thread 🧵to announce my participation and hold myself accountable. This thread will have my progress every day and will hopefully be a nice memory rather than a trauma dump. I'm writing my second graphic novel "Ghosts/Goats" (pushing for a #NaGraNoWriMo).

Day 28 of #NaNoWriMo2022 - I did the thing. I finished my book! I passed my 235 page goal! - I still have work left to do to get to the end of the story, but that's only due to my changing ideas - Time to celebrate and feel proud! Page Count: 239/235 #NaNoWriMo #NaGraNoWriMo

Day 29 of #NaNoWriMo2022 - Shorter day today as I am at the end and my motivation is lacking - I really like some of the formats I've been establishing and can't wait to feed them through the entire book - Only one more day! Page Count: 245/235 #NaNoWriMo #NaGraNoWriMo

I'm writing a later scene in my graphic novel with the knowledge of a planned rewrite in my head. A character that previously was well is now seriously ill, and I can't help think that it gives off real "I got the test results back" vibes from The Room. youtube.com/watch?v=EtMQhTxR…
One of the dangers of painting skin tones for some Warhammer models and using a mug for dirty paint water. You create a tasty, dangerous drink.

#amwriting #nanowrimo What do other writers do when they have a massive character overhaul planned when midway through? Do you write to the original plan or the new? I want to push to the end of the first draft and don't want to get bogged down in rewrites at this point.
