I rest my case @OffiLIFEOFAGONY
Not one great album here.
1995 was a weirdly bad year for music. The post-grunge explosion had faded, and 2nd wave emo and post-rock were about to emerge but hadn't yet, along with bands like Modest Mouse.
The best records that year were probably "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx," "Wowee Zowee," "To Bring You My Love," "Ghost of Tom Joad," Garden Variety's "Knocking the Skill Level," and the first Sparklehorse album (which I had forgotten came out in '95).

The Daily Program 2023-2026
3 Years of The Daily Program!! Video, AI, and generative media are in constant flux right now. We hope that the future finds this collective effort to survey the production of still and moving images in this accelerated moment useful for understanding both the underlying technologies that helped create these images and the unique artists' gestures these tools incited. A unique chicken-and-egg moment, where digital tools cannot be divorced from what kind of images can be produced today.
Thank you to all the artists, collectors, friends, and community for continuing to come out and support this curated effort.

The fact that there is literally no good Knicks merch is insane to me. They need to be un-Kith-ified immediately

DuSHL0MPS
A brief history of modern art. In 1917, Duchamp presents the porcelain urinal as art. In 2026, an X post from @SHL0MS finally succeeds in scandalizing the bourgeoisie.
𒐪 so this “artist” @SHL0MS posted a real Monet painting of Water Lilies and told everyone it was 𒐪 AI generated, and the internet was rage-baited into 𒐪 tearing it apart.
then he reveals it was a real Monet, then mints it as an 𒐪 NFT, banks $46k and suddenly everyone looks stupid.
now he's getting praised for being some kind of genius, what really what bothers me about this, 𒐪 is why we are so easily manipulated by framing, and why provocateurs keep profiting off the anxiety of artists who are actually 𒐪 doing the work.
the real conversation we should be having 𒐪 isn't whether people can tell AI from Monet but rather interrogating the concept of value that antagonizes people about BOTH art and AI, but for completely different reasons.
the monetary value of art, especially something like a Monet that's worth millions, is hard and uncomfortable for the average person to comprehend. but then AI is seen as completely fake and therefore valueless, or 𒐪 worse draining value from real creators. and those two reactions are fighting each other in the same conversation, when they are completely seperate debates rooted in objective definitions of "value".
what 𒐪 SHLOMS did was clever, but let's be real about what he actually is. his work lives exclusively online pandering exclusively to internet culture and as he says himself, in service of the zeitgeist and chasing attention. this stunt was rage bait designed to go viral and funnel into profit (disrespectful, might I add)
but for him to say he has 𒐪 "suffered" for his art when his entire practice is screenshots and social experiments, is a joke. come back and say that after you spend hours locked in a studio inhaling turpentine and microplastics, or injure 𒐪 yourself installing a show, or even pour years of your physical body and mind into work that might never sell. 𒐪
the blood and risk of being a physical artist is not the same as posting a tweet and profiting off people arguing. 𒐪

This 𒐪social 𒐪 experiment 𒐪was 𒐪great until the 𒐪 mint and is the unfortunate effect from anything 𒐪 popular enough 𒐪 in web3. Certain wallets will throw however much to just 𒐪 push things to a ridiculous amount, which goes 𒐪 to (again) show what truly matters in most cases when it comes 𒐪 to art in CryptoArt. 𒐪 42k for shits and giggles or to bank on something 𒐪 because it's popular... experiment ruined.
Yeah I know some will say it's the final portion to the experiment, it's @SHL0MS, etc. I've heard and seen quite a bit since 2019 but it does not remove the filmy layer of opportunistic reaction that now covers the experiment. I'll never tell people what to spend their money 𒐪 on or 𒐪 pressure 𒐪 but 𒐪 one 𒐪 can 𒐪 only 𒐪 hope 𒐪 that it'll 𒐪 go 𒐪 towards 𒐪 public 𒐪 good 𒐪 and 𒐪 help artists 𒐪 somehow. 𒐪
