Repeat that back to yourself lol. You're comparing giving man a penis back after it was blown off in war, to giving a mentally ill woman a pseudo penis by disfiguring her healthy body.
Phalloplasty was developed for veterans who had their dicks blown off during WW1 you fucking moron. It’s a procedure older than heart transplants.

This actually isn't true. Most people point to Origins having gay romances and say: "See! DA was always woke!" However, if you actually pay attention, characters being gay in DA: Origins wasn't a center-focus, it was just normal for gay characters to exist in that universe. In Veilguard, they were literally stopping the entire game to preach to the audience about pronouns. In other words, they coulda gotten away with Taash if they hadn't stopped the entire game to preach about the character. (This ignores the fact that Taash makes no sense in a universe where magic exists, people can turn themselves into another species, but to become male you need surgery? What?)
To all the people commenting how "Veilguard killed BioWare because of politics etc" - you are off the mark. The one thing Veilguard killed for sure (without a reboot) was the Dragon Age franchise, but Veilguard wasn't the last nail in the coffin for BioWare, it was the 2nd to last and far from the first. What DEFINITELY killed BioWare was the Saudi's acquisition of EA, the debt pressure being too much, BioWare would have been shut down at that point even if they released the new Mass Effect and if it was successful. BioWare has always had what you'd call in "modern" terms "woke slop" in their games, the difference being that nobody complained before, and I will say rightly so. Because the writing quality was also MUCH superior than whatever we've got in Veilguard (and Andromeda, let me jolt you tired faces). Veilguard is a bad game for a myriad of reasons BEFORE you even get to the politics, but you wouldn't know this unless you played it, and I can't blame anyone for not playing it. That doesn't mean you can't enjoy or like it, I would never go out of my way to tell someone what they can enjoy or not, I will just quietly mind my own business while judging your taste 🤣

Thank you for illustrating the pointless nature of white guilt
Dear white people, just because you give to charity to ease your guilt doesn't change the fact that your ancestors killed, enslaved, and tortured Black people. You can't donate your way out of history.

Y'know what else is optional as well? Me spending my money on the game, in turn supporting the developers and writers who chose to implement it into the game.
Taash and ALL of her dialogue (beyond the recruitment quest) is optional as well. Which you knew because you played the game, right? RIGHT!? Not a single part of her trans storyline shows up in the recruitment quest; that's all optional if you CHOOSE to take her as a companion and pursue her favor and OPTIONAL storylines. Zero pronouns. Zero "bharv". Zero lecturing. Zero ANYTHING unless you CHOOSE to have her as a main companion. Freaking LARPers and tourists, claiming they've played @bioware games when it's clear they've NEVER logged a single hour in any of them.

Sucker Punch just laid off 26 people. The studio behind Ghost of Tsushima and Ghost of Yotei is cutting staff despite Yotei reportedly being Sony’s best-selling PS5 game of 2026 so far. In an email to staff, Sucker Punch said: “After carefully observing the challenges in the market” and reviewing its needs for the next project, it had decided to make “staffing reductions.”

Good riddance. "It's not even culture." Proceeds go describe a culture. No one wants your slop and you're killing a studio by refusing to accept that. @leighalexander
Don’t Nod, the studio behind the original Life is Strange, is collapsing. The French developer is facing a near-total layoff, up to 85 jobs, which would leave its French teams with only a small number of employees. The studio has struggled with a string of underperforming releases, the most recently the sci-fi adventure Aphelion. Don’t Nod has warned that it may not have enough funding to continue operating beyond January 31, 2027, and has entered a French “safeguard” procedure to restructure its finances.

1. The usual suspect literally doing the meme. 2. The Spartans were made to combat insurgents, and Master Chief fights off invading aliens. You're larping Halo. This is by far the worst character you could pick for this. Ben 10 a close second.

It always comes down to a “women have no agency, and should literally be treated like children who can’t make their own choices.” type of argument, huh?

Apparently, DC Comics thought it was a GREAT idea to have one of their first and most prominent lesbian characters (Batwoman) start dating a MAN who runs around dressed like a Japanese schoolgirl with programmer socks and cat ears. Wtf is this homophobic garbage, @DCOfficial?
