Today Oscar turns 18 which is incredible as it’s nearly 16 years since he had his accident. He’s officially an old boy now. So grateful for all that Noel and his team did for our boy as well as all the people at New Era. @ProfNoelFitz @fitzpatrickref @NEWERAVET

Today marks 15 years since Oscar had his accident and lost his rear paws and he’s still loving life! He wouldn’t still be here without the brilliance of Noel Fitzpatrick @ProfNoelFitz and all at @fitzpatrickref and @NEWERAVET in Jersey, especially Peter Haworth!

Replying to @victoria_hall
@victoria_hall and I have been to meet Oscar “the bionic cat”. He was the first animal to receive 2 bionic legs 13 years ago and is still here at 15 years old, thanks to @ProfNoelFitz and @NEWERAVET. Tune into @ITVChannelTV tonight from 6pm

Oscar, and his sister Poppy, are 15 years old today. For Oscar this is especially amazing as he had his accident nearly 13 years ago. Every day we are so grateful for Noel’s help and for giving him a long and happy life. @ProfNoelFitz @fitzpatrickref

To whoever is responsible for this, in a field just west of Dublin, Ontario, you are AMAZING! I just about drove off the road when I saw them and then had to back up for a second look. Thanks for the belly laugh!
