That moment when a person realises that our business name is indeed a glorious pun :) #thecraneevent #themainevent
Last month we hosted Eddington’s first-ever carnival! 🌈🎶 The cricket pitch came alive with local talent, craft stalls, fitness sessions, and global cuisine - bringing thousands of residents and locals together to celebrate culture, creativity, and community.
The Brief (from ourselves): Write a blog about the symbiotic relationship between event marketing & production, tie it to whatever’s trending in the event world & throw in as many Willy Wonka references as possible!

Our grand finale of The Crane Event Christmas Countdown is our illumination of King’s College, captured beautifully by our good friend, @acambridgediary.
And with that, our countdown is complete. We hope you enjoyed it, and we look forward to delivering more events in 2024!
Starting from modest origins to having our own dedicated studio, conducting workshops for children and young adults, and developing and crafting series for businesses - day 10 of our The Crane Event Christmas Countdown is all about podcasting! #podcasting #podcasts #podcaststudio

On the 9th day of The Crane Event Christmas Countdown, we cast our mind to the Eddington #FestiveMarket. We’re talking traditional alpine huts, pipping hot mulled drinks, choirs, a Santasaurus, numerous workshops, curling lanes… wait… go back a minute… a Santasaurus? Why not!
The 8th day of The Crane Event Christmas Countdown focuses on us delivering a community fireworks display in Hemingford that has all the trimmings, bonfire, music, locally sourced food & drink and of course, the explosions in the sky themselves… #eventmanagement #communityevents
Day six of The Crane Event Christmas Countdown... from supporting European events in Sweden and France to giving a true Cambridge experience to groups from China, Switzerland, and the United States - 2023 really has satisfied our wanderlust! #destinationmangement
On the Fifth Day of The Crane Event Christmas Countdown, we think back to September when we conceived and delivered a series of walking trails and illuminations to highlight Organ Donation Week. #eventmanagement #eventproduction #awarenesscampaigns

On the 3rd day of The Crane Event, we look back to the Cambridge Folk Festival where we joined Novahub to project manage the event Wifi installation. Once the festival went live, we donned our hospitality hats and welcomed the VIP guests. #eventmanagement #CamFolkFest #cambridge
The 2nd day of The Crane Event Christmas countdown is going off with a bang! Our delightful client wanted a retirement bash to remember, so we lined up spectacular fireworks, exploding confetti balloons, smoking cocktails and flashes of colour. #eventmanagement #cambridge #events
On day 1 of 'The 12 Days of The Crane Event' we're taking you back to when we transformed Eddington Square into a bustling Beer Garden. Live music, great food, and craft beer from local breweries. A great way to kick off our season! #eventmanagement #eventmarketing #cambridge
