Zero Transparency! And they're a 'government organisation'. What good is law and its enforcement if nobody gives account publicly?🤦‍♂️ Nigerians aren't ready for the standards we need!
Replying to @officialEFCC
🇳🇬 NIGERIANS DESERVE ANSWERS: WHO AUDITS THE EFCC’S RECOVERED ASSETS? I have a few important questions for the EFCC: 1. Does the EFCC have an official auction website where Nigerians can view and bid for assets recovered from fraudsters and other convicted criminals? 2. How exactly are these recovered assets sold or disposed of? Who determines the value of the houses, cars, and other properties, and how can Nigerians be sure the process is transparent and fair? 3. Is there a dedicated, publicly accessible account or official report showing how much money is generated from these sales, where the proceeds go, and how the funds are eventually spent? The issue here is not how the EFCC investigates or arrests suspects. The real concern is what happens to the assets recovered after these operations. Nigerians: i feel Efcc operates on huge buying by demands and they take all those things they sell it to the highest bidders within their circle. If these assets are recovered in the name of the Nigerian people, then Nigerians deserve to know how they are sold and where the money goes. I am calling for an independent probe into the EFCC’s management, auction, disposal, and accounting of recovered assets. Transparency is not too much to ask. Accountability should be non-negotiable.

Honestly this should be a post on the website and made available through transparent, public records. Making a social media post about catching small fry like it's something major is only a sign that your priorities are too low. Aim higher. We have people looting public funds!
Sting Operation at Applewood Estate and Matters Arising   Operatives of the Lagos Directorate 1 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,  on Monday,  October 26, 2026 carried out a sting operation at Applewood Estate, Orchid Road,  Lekki,  Lagos State,   to apprehend suspected cybercrime fraudsters obtaining money from unsuspecting victims  through gift cards, crypto currencies and international money transfers by impersonating several individuals.    The operation, carried out by 5am, yielded the arrest of twenty-one(21) suspected cybercrime fraudsters and five exotic cars.    The fraudsters were apprehended professionally owing to diligent pre-arrest surveillance and reconnaissance of the activities of the fraudsters.  A young lady that stood in the way of the operation by making telephone calls to alert the fraudsters was held and her phone confiscated until the conclusion of the operation.  The phone was later released to her.      Preliminary investigations of the arrested suspects indicted nineteen(19)  of them while the remaining two have been released. All the indicted suspects will be arraigned in court  immediately.    While the EFCC continues its crusade and operational dynamics against economic and financial crimes and other acts of corruption,  the public is enjoined to keep faith with it and loudly condemn the activities of fraudsters bringing the nation to disrepute.     The Sting Operation at Applewood Estate was professionally carried out, with no record of harassment, intimidation or unlawful arrest of anyone.  The Commission is open to constructive engagement by well-meaning Nigerians but blackmailers and alarmists will not be allowed to sabotage its mandate.

If women do not expect their future husbands or husbands to cheat on them, many single women will not be sleeping with married men. They know. How many single men sleep with married women compared to married men that sleep with single women? That's why you should scrutinize your wife when she's becoming too obsessed about what you're doing or if you're cheating. Women don't hate cheating. They just hate to be cheated on. End.

The funniest thing about her getting flamed for this is... Nobody, literally NOBODY, asked her for this information. I wonder if she would've thought it was okay if her husband did the same 'background checks' with her ex(es). She admitted to doing it without his consent BTW.
Woman contacted her husband's ex before their marriage .

Unrelated but... Once the comments are close to or more than the likes on your post, just know you're getting cooked for whatever it is you posted - and it's usually ragebait or unintentionally controversial. If you're not emotionally sound, just go offline. X is brutal. 😅
Men! once you get married, please write your will. Death doesn’t have a timetable. Don’t allow your wife and kids suffer Biko. No detail is too small to leave out. Enough is enough. I can’t believe we’re still having this conversation in 2026.

There's so many ways the future could go and this tech is low-key scary for women. Imagine a future where women aren't necessary to build a family, most men wouldn't want to marry, because technology provides what they need. All they need is a caretaker. No one knows tomorrow.
Artificial wombs are the future and women cannot do anything about it.

Your salary has tripled, but your purchasing power has been quietly murdered by inflation. This is why income and wealth are not the same thing. A man earning ₦100,000 who can meet his needs and save something may be in a stronger financial position than one earning ₦300,000 who spends everything surviving. The real measure of progress isn't how much money enters your account, but what that money can actually do for you. If your income rises but your standard of living and savings don't, you're earning more without necessarily becoming richer.

Never have I ever seen a well written guide for parents to follow. I wish many Nigerian parents would see this, abandon their egos and learn to be more aware of their actions and the long term consequences that come of them.
Some of us Nigerian parents don't know how to raise teenagers without turning the house into a courtroom. Maybe it comes from our own experience and level of exposure, but we need to unlearn a lot of styles because they aren't working. Your child walks in from school and the cross-examination begins. "Where are you going?" "Who were you with?" "Why did you do that?" "Who told you?" "Are you hiding something?" Nobody has made room for "Good evening." No one has said "Welcome." In a bid to stay on top of your protection game, you become the prosecutor, the judge and the police, while your child becomes the accused. But what you don't realise is that your teenager has now learnt the quickest way out of your courtroom: say little, say what pleases you, and say it fast. Then all of a sudden, they recoil and stop talking. And you start complaining, "These children of nowadays don't confide in their parents." You start sulking over the idea that they don't need you anymore, after everything you have done. But how would they? My dear, sometimes the child didn't stop needing you. They just stopped feeling safe enough to tell you the truth. Think about how it works with your own phone. If a certain app charges you every time you open it, you stop opening it. You don't stop needing the app. You just stop going there. Or a shop where the owner shouts at every customer who asks a question. Clearly, people will stop asking. They still need what is inside, so they buy it from the next shop, where nobody shouts. That is exactly what happens when your teenager has a problem. Your boy is being pressured by friends, or your girl has received a message that made her uncomfortable. Maybe somebody older is being too friendly. They have just two places to take it: home or friends. But when the first question from home is "What did you do to cause it?", they would rather go to a friend, a stranger on the internet, or a classmate who knows nothing. And sadly, the second place is usually the one that answers. A teenager needs boundaries, absolutely. Curfews, rules, consequences, all of it. But boundaries without relationship can produce obedience in your presence and secrecy in your absence. A child who says "Yes, Mummy" at the gate, then begins another life once the gate closes. And you think you have a well-behaved child, not knowing you only have a well-trained actor. You don't raise teenagers by making sure they fear you. A child who is afraid of you learns to lie beautifully, and the lie gets better with every year. You raise them by making sure they know they can come to you before the world teaches them its own lessons. The world is a very harsh teacher, and it doesn't offer a second chance to resit the exam it sets. So the next time your teenager says something that shocks you, take a breath before the first question. Let your reaction be the reason they come back tomorrow, not the reason they never come again. Be the safest place they know. Selah.

Note to self to never offer any stranger a free ride from the airport, especially if they're female. ✍️
I do this whenever I travel by air. I’ll familiarise myself with whoever I’m sitting next to, collect their number, and ask if someone is picking them up or if they’re ordering a ride. Once I hear “I’m ordering a ride,” congratulations, you’ve just become my airport taxi. 😂 I’ll discreetly use my phone to snap the car plate number and send it, alongside the person’s details, to my DSS friend in case anything happens. Once you drop me, na block straight 🫣😂 Abeg, those airport taxi fares are not beans jare😂
