In Skyfall, Daniel Craig almost ruined this scene.
Before filming he had bought a nice pair of leather gloves. He loved them so much he insisted on wearing them for this scene.
But the plot relies on Bond’s gun having a fingerprint scanner.
In editing room producers literally lost their minds.
One producer said:
“It’s against the logic of this scene. The villain can't fire Bond's gun because it has a fingerprint scanner, but if that's the case, then how was Bond ever going to fire it wearing gloves?”
They considered reshooting but they found out it would cost millions.
The only solution became to digitally paint in Bond's hands.
If you watch the scene you can see that Bond has podgy hands because in every single frame he was wearing thick leather gloves.

Be prepared, there is a small chance that our horrendous leadership could unknowingly lead us into World War III.

Obama told bibi to go fuck himself and signed a deal with iran that was working.
Trump ripped up that deal because obama is black and bibi made Trump go to war with Iran.
These are the facts.

IMO it should be considered quite rude in most contexts to post or send someone a wall of 100% AI-generated text. “Here, read this thing I didn’t care enough about to express myself.”

In an imaginary world in which the Democrats actually wanted to win elections, I'd make their core message how over the past five decades the top 10% has stolen $50 trillion from the bottom 90%. Then they could end every rally by yelling, "Let's go get our money back!"

Interesting! The xz backdoor code was so unperformant under normal SSH password grinding on the public Internet, @AndresFreundTec noticed and dug in. Thanks for your discovery Andres!

FWIW, I didn't actually start looking due to the 500ms - I started looking when I saw failing ssh logins (by the usual automated attempts trying random user/password combinations) using a substantial amount of CPU. Only after that I noticed the slower logins.

So it seems weird that a VC who owns a big chunk of TikTok has arranged to put a couple billion in paper gains into Trumps pocket not just for TikTok but because he thinks it’s a good general risk hedge to own the leader of the gop and possible next President and yet that’s okay?

If anyone received an award for cinematography in 2021 they should give it back, because the proper recipient is whoever was remotely operating this Senate floor camera feed on Jan. 6.
