THE Fight Guy

Five years ago my friends and I used to watch every fight card together. Over time we started watching less, and now we only get together twice a year for the big ones like the White House card. I used to think it was just us getting older and busier with life, but every time we’re together on the weekdays they talk about how great the old fight nights were. Im a newer fan. I mainly started watching around Conor vs Khabib, so only about 7-8 years while these guys have been watching forever, some even from the Pride days. So yeah, I get why the OP’s losing interest in the sport. Im seeing the same thing with some hardcore MMA fans I know in real life. Its sad because baldy has access to more money and venues than before, but instead of spending it on better talent and marketing he decides to pour it into bullshit ventures like Power Slap, BJJ, and Zuffa that no one cares about. The UFC started as an alternative to all that. Now the better sport keeps putting out just mid-cards after mid-cards.
