As prominently noted over the past 48 hours, a post was put out on our account regarding our stance on Generative AI, which was subsequently deleted later that day. This was not a shift in our stance and was simply a reaction to the post being created and released without any formal approval. At Genesis Studios, we are completely against Generative AI. All of our work, even the things you do not see, is fully authentically human-made, and we do not use Generative AI in our development processes. As a lot of you also saw, our Social Media Lead was released after this incident. There were other reasons for it, but ultimately the final decision to release this member was not something everyone agreed upon. We are looking back at this decision and deciding whether or not this was the right call and whether the correct process was followed.
