This is fucking crazy.
I knew all the Smart TVs were spying—that’s why I have a commercial panel with minimal compute and no radio, plugged in to an AppleTV. But this is crazy!

Few seem to understand the biggest winner in BC politics this year was @Dallas_Brodie
A truly courageous leader who put truth over popularity and position. She made the platform of the BC Conservatives possible by opening the Overton window in the legislature and holding them accountable for the last two years.
If we’re all extremely lucky, we have not seen the last of Brodie in the political realm.
The BC Cons won a majority
David Eby resigned.
This means Bonnie Henry is out as well!
The NDP reign of terror has come to an end.
We shall see if the Liberal infiltrated BC Conservatives will keep their word on removing SOGI and rescinding DRIPA and reversing the land grabs!
Even though Dallas Brodie lost her seat we all owe her a great debt of gratitude as she helped shift the conversation in BC politics to focus on the critical issues …SOGI, repealing DRIPA, ending the land grabs, dealing with drugs and crime and so much more.
I pray the BC Cons will keep their word.
We must remain vigilant to ensure they do.

Started working on a side project called "Dream".
It's a game where players can enter prompts, and AI builds the game logic for their requests in real-time.
Every creation is saved/cached forever, adding to an ever-growing collection of weapons and effects that anyone can use.

Congratulations to Lorne Doerkson on becoming the 38th premier of British Columbia.
British Columbians want to see a change in how the government operates and I pray for the new government's success in making the real change ordinary decent people have wanted to see for a long time.
Good luck to the new government!

This one maybe as bad or worse than the PHP ones. Get used to lots of patching.

OneBC would turn reserves into townships, repeal DRIPA, end land acknowledgements, give Indigenous people title to their homes, and release them from federal paternalism.
Canada has a choice: treat all citizens the same or break up as a country.
Has reconciliation gone too far in British Columbia? Here are my thoughts.

GrapheneOS updates are signed with per-device-model keys. An update package and the update_engine payload inside are signed and have timestamps for downgrade protection. Both the firmware and OS images written out by those are fully verified at boot with downgrade protection.

So this is an interesting story. How eMudhra became the foundation of global internet. Im surprised that no news channels are digging up the root CA history. Maybe people dont know that this is public information.
groups.google.com/g/mozilla.…
So this is the discussion list for mozilla security policy back in 2018. When emudhra first applied for inclusion as a root ca.
One of the maintainers questions eMudhra's credentials as an "Indian co".
The filing in response is very interesting.
"eMudhra has been a licensed CA under
Controller of Certifying Authorities which operates the Indian
Government Root for more than 10 years and is also a licensed CA in
Mauritius under Ministry of IT, Mauritius. eMudhra has issued over 35
million digital certificates (3% of India’s population).
eMudhra is a critical partner to Digital India and supports the usage of
digital signatures on a variety of eGovernance platforms for
Government of India including Company Law Board, Income Tax, Goods
and Service Tax (GST / VAT), eProcurement, Travel Portals, Customs,
Banking etc. eMudhra’s solutions power digital signature and other
multifactor authentication for over 35 Banks which include domestic
and global Banks. eMudhra also has a proprietary CA solution which is
today used by the Indian Army and other defense establishments."
Eventually mozilla HAD to accept, because emudhra claimed publicly - "But this was not a complete Webtrust audited setup. Rather, it is under Government of India." – at San Francisco, CA

A conversation that has happened many times in banking, with various flavor texts, from fintech to public banking to microfinance.
A: We think there is an opportunity to write loans to an underserved population.
B: At usuriously high rates?
A: No, at usual rates. Maybe lower.

Someone told me last week to look for “signposts” that might indicate attacks were getting significantly faster and worse than the historical norm. Do you think we’re seeing any of those?

This may be the most significant data breach in Canadian history. Not in terms of the numbers, but in terms of the nature of the records compromised. "More than 1.5 million Canadian Crime Stoppers tips leaked" cbc.ca/news/investigates/can…

In the last 24 hours:
1. iPhone 11 through 16 are apparently vulnerable to remote attacks.
2. SSL certificates are broken until browsers remove eMudhra CA.
3. PHP >9 vulnerability CVE published (tomorrow).
The world is about to witness things that have never been seen before.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The post's iPhone claim is inaccurate; a leaked Cellebrite forensic tool targets a Bluetooth bug patched in iOS 26.5 and does not affect updated devices. The eMudhra CA and PHP issues are real incidents but framed sensationally.

The best thing about miniature packs of Halloween candy is that they're fresh. A candy bar in a grocery store might've been sitting on the shelf for months or more. Halloween candy is usually made just before Halloween, I imagine
