Here is a thread of my reports/analysis ⚽👇🏻
Would mean a lot if you checked them out, shared them further, and gave your feedback!
So lucky to be ahead once more. Liverpool again showing very few ideas in possession. They have no sustained control on the ball, giving Palace a lot of encouragement to attack as well.
Nuremberg airport is honestly amazing. Just did apartment to boarding gate in 20 minutes (without check-in luggage, but still), and I live more or less near the city center.
The fact that Germany’s largest ISP considers 10 Mbps a speed worth discussing in 2026 is a fascinating glimpse into the technological ambitions of Europe's largest economy.

Die BILD behauptet, Abdul El-Sayed hätte „mit Antisemitismus“ gewonnen. Das ist schlichtweg eine Lüge. So weit, so typisch.

The claim is accurate. It comes straight from the OECD's 2018 report A Broken Social Elevator. Using intergenerational earnings data, they estimated that children from Germany's bottom 10% income group need six generations (roughly 180 years) to reach the national average. OECD average was about five; Denmark needed two, the US five. Newer studies show relative mobility has declined further for cohorts born in the late 1970s–80s.
craziest thing about history is how often your children would just die. and not that long ago. i'm reading a bio of Lincoln and it just slips that his kids kept dying tragically. today that's a life-defining event. did everyone just walk around with PTSD or what
I'm sorry but Iraola's Liverpool have very few in-possession ideas. Every time they have to attack against a team that defends deep and has many bodies in and around the box, they struggle.

I don't normally react to this account. But I rather feel there might be another factor here that is being left unsaid.
Conflict places more of the care burden on women and girls' shoulders.
#Peace and security require more than their unpaid labor.
Women and girls must be at the heart of peacebuilding.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Men/boys are the large majority of combat deaths in conflicts — omitted. Boys also do care work — omitted. Saying women & girls must be “at the heart” of peacebuilding is prioritisation, not equality. Higher unpaid care ratios occur because men are dying or fighting.

Don't forget guys, at the end of the day it's ALL about results. Journalists and pundits try to draw "causal" inferences based on outcomes.
I see it every season. A manager starts winning, and everything from the yoga sessions to the hotel selection gets praised. Then the same manager loses matches, gets replaced, and suddenly his methods weren't that great anymore.

What we have already decided
We speak of the future as if it were open. This map suggests otherwise.
The children on it were under five when they were measured. In the 2040s they will run our farms, offices and factories; in the 2060s they will be the parents and taxpayers on whom an ageing country leans. Two in five of them are stunted. Whatever we choose to do now, for them this part of the future has already been decided, before they could choose anything.
A child’s height at two is a kind of ledger. It records, with no possibility of appeal, whether her mother ate, whether the water was clean, whether someone helped when she had diarrhoea, whether anyone thought she mattered enough to reach. The ledger in Gujrat reads one way. In Thatta it reads another. In Haripur and Kohistan, a hundred and fifty kilometres apart, the same province records two different countries.
We like to believe this is history, or geography, or poverty, things that happen to us. But the greenest districts were never the richest land. They were the places where girls went to school, where men found work beyond the village, where the state and the market arrived. The map is not a record of what nature gave us. It is a record of whom we chose to reach.
We are a society that discounts the future heavily. We defer, we borrow, we promise. But children cannot be deferred. The first thousand days do not wait for a better budget year.
Somewhere in Jamshoro a girl stunted in 2018 will be a mother by 2045. What we failed to give her, she will not be able to give her child.
The question this map asks is not about them. It is about us.
