Before any fix, you have to name the problem. This one's for every indie musician who's ever felt stuck 🎶 Beautiful work, Heather.
I went far down the rabbit hole of how to fix music for indie artists by using Bitcoin...without going down the essential rabbit hole of what the *problem* is first.
We can toss around "we're so early" in a non-chalant way, but it's not helping any indie musician.
Indie artists face so much, let's get started unpacking the issues, which are many.

This is the quiet part nobody talks about. Artists building their own little worlds, one real fan at a time 🎶
“There's a lot of people quietly stepping away and setting up their own systems, their own worlds, and their own micro-communities."

Still early, but feeling sats land mid-set never gets old 🧡 Fans and artists, no middleman. Thanks for sharing this one @Bitcoinfta
With Bitcoin we have this really nice movement that we call V4V — Value for Value — where fans can send Satoshis directly to us artists.
It’s still early. Nobody’s living off streaming alone.
But at the shows in Las Vegas and Belgrade this year, we got meaningful amounts of sats during the set.
"There’s huge potential there.”

Problem first, then the fix. That's how you reach musicians outside the bubble 🙌 Looking forward to Thursday, Heather. @Joemartinmusic and @ainsleymusic07 are great examples.
Coming Thursday…
I think over the past 2+ years, I skipped over the problem and provided the solution first.
Kinda bass ackwards.
So let’s back up and dissect what indue musicians are dealing with before I pop in with the “Bitcoin fixes this.”
