He is 21 years old 🇫🇷 Traveled to support brother at AFCON in Morocco during Christmas break. Rennes broke their own no-signings-under-9 policy to recruit him at just 5 years old. A first for the club. His father (former boxer) ran strict daily training and honest post-match family debriefs. Youngest French player ever to score in European competition (at 17) First player born in 2005 to score in a major Big-5 league Was in tears after helping PSG clinch their first UCL title Scored 2 goals + 1 assist in UCL final at just 19. The youngest ever to do so Late physical bloomer who developed athletically later. His dad focused heavily on technique and mentality early on Won European Golden Boy Award in 2025 He has a bigg football family. His cousins Yann Gboho, Marc-Olivier & Eddy Doué are pros. His uncle/godfather was Ivorian international referee Extremely close to older brother Guéla (pro at Strasbourg, Ivory Coast international). They played endless 1v1s as kids and still face off in Ligue 1 games. Quietly discussed Ballon d'Or dreams at home even as Rennes substitute . . . . . Doué is a very good example of being given a book and then writing your own personal story in it. Yes he has a big football family. Heck, he was born into a sports family. But this didn't make him relent or just calm down. He worked so hard to write his own name in history books. And he still continues to work hard till this day. He's a Ligue 1 winner, a 2-tines champions league winner, and many other individual and team achievements attached to him. . . When you feel you have the platform already, I want you to keep working and reinventing yourself regardless. Your family/background might have given you the book. But you alone should write your story in it, the best way you can Just as Doué is doing 🫂 I wish you tremendous success. Thank you very much for reading 💯 . . . ✍️ Vincent the Therapist
