Kenneth Janz

Thank you to our legislators for supporting the North Star Promise! The tuition-free scholarship will give students from households making under $80k a year the opportunity for an equitable education at Winona State.

Thank you @GenePelowski and #MnHouse bonding committee for your visit yesterday! Your support of CICEL will provide modern learning spaces for our students and create the first net-zero energy building in the Minnesota State system.

Thank you to @LtGovFlanagan for visiting to learn about our CICEL project - a net-zero building that'll include active-learning classrooms, high-touch art/design & maker/fabrication studios, and high-tech & augmented reality labs. It'll go far in serving our community & students!

Congrats to Dr. Ken Janz on being named interim president of WSU, beginning Aug. 1! Janz succeeds Dr. Scott R. Olson, who's been president of WSU since 2012. Olson assumes his new role as chancellor of @MinnStateEdu Aug. 1. @thejanzman

Thank you to @GenePelowski & @jeremyrmiller for supporting Minnesota State's first net-zero energy building by including CICEL in this session's bonding bill. We look forward to starting the design stage of building innovative, sustainable, and collaborative learning spaces!
