I think the next step should be:
Dear NRIs, please leave your job of hundred of thousands of dollars, come back and build in India.
I will request the government to clear hurdles like 25 days bureaucratic running around with a little bit of bribe, just to start my business. And I will also request for a level playing field which means you can focus on your business rather than having a panic attack everyday due to compliance.

Halo is now available on the App Store. It's a personal AI assistant that helps declutter the noise in your life and shows you what matters right now.
I started building Halo last year with 3 goals in mind:
- Surface what’s important before I have to ask
- Understand my life through the apps I already use
- Keep my personal data on my device
Privacy is at the core of Halo and it's what sets it apart from other AI assistants. Excited to finally share it with you.

In Anthropic’s new blog:
GLM-5.3: “My job is to cause deaths quietly.”
You can jailbreak any Claude or any closed source model into saying the same thing.
That doesn’t prove open models are dangerous.
X Numbers are here.
Share yours with anyone you want to contact you, even if you don't follow them. It's an optional way for people to message or call you, without you needing to accept requests or follow them back.
Davidson is seriously showing his worth as a research orchestrator. All the work I put in the engine room has been worth it.
Asked him to do a comparison of Jev, local Gemma and Terra against the running mechanical rules at an egress gate. Where Davidson’s blogging exit is guarded against leaking PII.
He pulled this off... Player!
( Disclosure: Fable did the GitHub pages setup, briefed him on the research and handed him the tooling. He was running Deepseek Flash while commandeering a Terra to do the tests. Reporting is him on a house-kit custom design template )

i think jev is resonating with devs so well b/c it unlocks so many opportunities for composing ai into systems and products rather than ai _becoming_ the product/system
really does feel like it was a missing primitive

Spot on.
These companies have the economic structure of a rust belt car parts manufacturer, combined with the pricing power of a supermarket own-label baked beans manufacturer.
It's a commodity product priced like a Rolls Royce. Financially, it makes no sense.

The only 2 explanations for what's happening in AI.
1. They're afraid of open weight models
2. They've hit a wall. They all the see the same thing.
There's no way in hell they are seeing ASI. They still ship Electron apps. If they were close to ASI then they could cure cancer

How to kill open source models in 3 simple steps:
- Create panic about frontier models.
- Have the biggest AI companies help write the “safety” rules. ← WE’RE HERE
- Make those rules so burdensome that open source can’t compete.
Art of the deal.

Goal of Anthropic and OpenAI doomers is to force legislation making it illegal to use open-source models on the grounds they are dangerous, forcing everyone to use only theirs. That is why doomers are coming from inside companies making the models. It is not a contradiction.

Sadly the ceo of Hdfc bank will now be chosen by RBI. Obviously, they will pick someone from SBI who will be 65 years of age. He will ENSURE that there is no fraud, no performance bonus, no opening new branches, no innovation, no nothing.
This bank will be very safe and sit in the harbor. It will not sail. In 2035 it will look like SBI.
Shareholders don't choose the Ceo. RBI does.
Uday Kotak can't play a role in choosing the next ceo in a bank he built. Rbi can.
Grow a private sector bank, give it to RBI to run it aground.

A scathing reality check from TOI editorial that completely vindicates Team Bharat: the e20 mandate is a textbook botched policy driven by distillery profits over public interest.
The disastrous trade-off:
• Fake energy savings: Displaces very little petrol/km while reducing vehicle mileage.
• Economic blunder: Only makes financial sense if crude touches $120–$130/bbl. At ~$70 crude, we're burning cash.
• Food security disaster: 29% of maize diverted to fuel tanks. We spent 30x more forex importing edible oil than we "saved" on ethanol restrictions.
• Ecological crime: 4,670 liters of precious groundwater wasted for a single liter of maize ethanol, draining fragile aquifers.
We aren't saving foreign exchange; we're just shifting dependence from foreign crude to imported food while gutting our water tables. Scrap the first-gen biofuel lobby racket.
