Local cinema giving me a chance to finally see this on the big screen tonight, as I was too young back in the day. The sequels hold little interest, but this film is pure 90's goodness 🖤 #NowWatching 📽 Scream Released 1996 Directed by Wes Craven

I spent my day visiting Imelda, shooting the breeze, putting the world to rights. If I reach my 70's, I hope to be half the woman she is. Now I'm curled up with Evie, knitting and listening to the howling wind. A heartwarming day indeed.

I'm in agreement with you. I have another elderly friend, Imelda, in her late 70's, she is absolutely no-nonsense, wicked sense of humour and gives sound advice. Speaking to them both brings me such comfort. They always leave me pondering something or other, good souls.

One of the hidden benefits of reading old books is that they rescue you from the arrogance of the present.
