If we’re being fair here; Nhyira is one of the visionaries young folks wanting to lead the party. He’s been preaching about empowering the youths and making TEIN great. That’s someone who wants to solve an issue. Let’s all come together and support him 🙏🏾

I will mobilise resources through partnerships with institutions such as the African Development Bank and Afreximbank, alongside internal funding, to support irrigation, protect the livelihoods of 1.7 million young farmers and create opportunities for our 6,900 NDC branch Youth Organisers across the five northern regions.

As Head of Food Systems at the United Nations, I helped create over 3,000 jobs and impacted 50,000 young lives through agricultural interventions. I want to bring that experience to bear by improving the livelihoods of young farmers across the five northern regions.

THE RENAMING OF KOTOKA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IS A PROCESS, NOT AN EVENT!
Having led the campaign advocating the change of our airport name to Accra International Airport on January 19th, I find it important to clarify the latest developments following the Attorney-General’s submission to the Supreme Court.
Contrary to the impression being created, the government’s commitment to restoring the airport’s original name has not been withdrawn.
In fact, the Attorney-General’s submission confirms that the proposed Accra International Airport Bill received was signed by the Minister for Transport on 10th February 2026, and is awaiting the necessary parliamentary process.
There are three distinct dimensions to renaming an international airport: the policy decision, the legislative process, and the operational transition. These do not necessarily happen simultaneously.
Already, the physical signage at Ghana’s principal international gateway has been changed to reflect Accra International Airport. The airport’s internationally recognised aviation codes, ACC and DGAA, remain unchanged, meaning that the renaming does not require a change to its fundamental international identification.
Updating airline booking systems, official documentation, aviation publications and other digital platforms is a separate administrative process that must be coordinated with the relevant institutions.
The Attorney-General’s acknowledgement that Kotoka International Airport remains the legal name pending legislation is therefore a statement of the current legal position, not an announcement that the renaming initiative has been abandoned.
What remains is for the government to complete the legislative process and progressively harmonise the airport’s legal, physical and international identity.
I commend the government for the progress made thus far, while respectfully urging the Minister for Transport and the leadership of Parliament to expedite the outstanding legislative processes.
For those of us who championed this cause, the objective remains unchanged: restoring the historic name Accra International Airport, a name that reflects the identity of our capital and the legacy of Ghana’s independence.
The process is not complete. But the process is underway. And we must see it through.
Forward Ever!

About three years ago, I led the site identification, development of the project financing and justification proposal, and operationalization of the 10,000-acre Noryaa-Akutso Economic Enclave.
I did this without holding a political appointment or board position. Today, approximately 2,000 acres have been operationalized, creating over 2,000 direct and indirect jobs for young people.
But this is unfinished work. The remaining 8,000 acres hold significant job creation potential for over 20,000 young people in the surrounding districts and beyond.
As the incoming National Youth Organizer of the NDC, I will pursue - with unmatched persistence - the commitment of the Finance and Agriculture Ministers to prioritize and fully operationalize the economic enclave within my first 300 days in office, unlocking its potential to create over 20,000 jobs for our youth. JOBS FOR OUR YOUTH WING, JOBS FOR GHANAIAN YOUTH!
The NDC youth wing deserves a Youth Commander with a proven record of creating opportunities for young people. Forward Ever!

Every investment we postpone in agricultural education becomes a greater cost to achieving our agricultural transformation agenda.
As the next National Youth Organizer of the NDC, One of my priority interventions will be to support the schools and departments of agriculture across Ghana’s tertiary institutions with ALL the resources they need to thrive.
That investment will also create a pathway to onboarding over 50,000 students into our NDC tertiary networks!

Earlier today, I donated 1,000 bags of organic fertilizer to support prospective Youth Farmer Awardees ahead of the upcoming 42nd National Farmers’ Day celebration.
The Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, @johndumelo who also Chairs the National Farmers’ Day Organising Committee, received the donation on behalf of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture and the Minister for Food and Agriculture.
I must commend the Honourable Deputy Minister and Chairman of the 42nd Farmers Day Celebration for his exemplary leadership in mobilising citizens and partners to support this year’s celebration. This spirit of collective responsibility will help make the occasion a memorable tribute to our gallant, hardworking farmers.
For me and @johndumelo , supporting young farmers is an investment in Ghana’s future. They are the next generation of agricultural leaders and the custodians of our food security. They deserve our encouragement, recognition and practical support. To all our Farmers and in Efo Dumelo’s words, the NDC dey for you! Only the NDC can do better for you! Forward ever!
