There were bunch of updates during last few days for $rekill
- We got bunch of new parachute skins!
- MistZone now damages the player.
- Quite a lot of improvements and bug-fixes.

Had a banked reset for Oct 5, went to use it this afternoon, and *poof* it's gone.
Sucks how they expire mid-day with no warning whatsoever.

“You are right this steps are described in the skill, but I didn’t do them”
Almost 100% of times codex is doing a task which is described carefully in a skill it ignores last few steps of the skill.
Anybody found a solution for this ?
Does anyone still buy game assets ?
Maybe animation packs, but other than that ?
I’m pretty sure a large % of asset purchases used to be for prototyping and with AI, you barely need that anymore.
Curious if asset store sales are already feeling it.
Talking to friends in IT, everyone agrees: workloads have exploded, pressure is high, and hiring more people would make sense.
Yet their companies aren’t hiring, and landing a job offer is harder than ever.
Ideas why ?
Let's imagine a situation a few years from now:
- AI is cheap and fast.
- A prompt like: "Make a cool 20-hour platformer about a brave ant" generates a complete, genuinely fun game with great mechanics.
- Everything works perfectly.
- The art, SFX, and code are better than anything you could make yourself.
Would you still make games ?
For two days already GPT voice mode is unusable for me.
Replies with 30s delays and in a mix of different languages and tells me about dr. Zhivago though I was asking about claude code and codex.
All GPUs taken for codex now ? 😂
AI makes it much easier and faster to create games.
But I bet the percentage of games that actually get finished will drop even further.
Hundreds of thousands of unfinished games will be stuck in limbo...
