What causes Osteoporosis?
Osteoporosis comes about from excessive resorption - the process by which osteoclasts remove bone tissue from the bones. Usually, osteoblasts replace the lost tissue with new bone tissue, but in cases of osteoporosis, the resorption rate is too high.
